By Force Of Destiny

Last night before bed, I drew the seventeenth rune of my personal runerow. It was Nauthiz (pronounced now-these), the 'n' rune of change linked with the forces of destiny. An omen of good and necessary transformation, this rune also pertains to banishings, cleansing counterspells, and spell sealings. Nauthiz is the runic equivalent of the ritual words: so mote it be and אמן (amen).

In follow-up to this divination last night, the only unusual thing that happened in my environment today is that my boss left in a hurry this afternoon, telling us that her house had just been broken into. Otherwise, today was unremarkable and uneventful, except for the fact that I am swamped with work to do for end-of-the-month close and with writing complete clinical care plans for seven new Medicare admissions. Our skilled unit is completely full and our average Medicare rate remains, at month-end, excellent and increased above the our year-to-date average Medicare rate.

Thurisaz On The Falling Man

Thurisaz (pronounced thoor-ee-saws) is voiceless like the 'th' in the word 'thorn'. Thurisaz is the rune of regeneration following destruction. Bringing with it active destruction of curses and enemies, thurisaz turns destruction into a directed force of cosmic defense, where the awakened energy of the Universe and all its multiplicty acts in our defense.

An excerpt from Dorothy Morrison's Utterly Wicked: Curses, Hexes & Other Unsavory Notions:

The pixels in a computer graphic ... they are only dots of color - nothing more, nothing less. But when an artist moves them together in a particular order and directs them into a proper measurement, an image forms. The pixels, themselves, have no control over whether the image is dreadful or gloomy, or bright and cheerful. They are, after all, just dots of color. It is the artist who brings the image to light - and evokes the desired feeling from those who view it - by moving and directing the pixels in a certain fashion. The same is true of energy and the practitioner.

Negative energy should never be returned to the sender. Dorothy goes on to write:

Because if both [magical] practitioners have their shields in place - and they certainly should if they're worth their salt - all this is going to do is cause a game of psychic volleyball. The energy is going to just bounce back and forth until someone gets tired. And we can only hope that someone is the practitioner who sent the energy in the first place.

Think about it. Dorothy continues:

Regardless of how it feels, all energy is a gift. It's the very substance from which everything is created. And that being the case, it should never be sent back. Instead, it should be grabbed up, moved and directed, and formed and shaped into something entirely different - something wonderful - something that can be used for personal [or collective] benefit.

Taking someone's ill-will and turning it into a blessing is divinely wicked. We can square the circle. We can take any supply of negative energy and focus it into good fortune. We are a people who is able.

The Hagalaz Rite Of Protection

The Hagalaz Rite is a protection rune ritual which banishes and prevents the return of baneful forces disadvantageous to one's runework. Edred Thorsson mentions it by name in his book (Futhark), describing it as a protection ritual which "provides the most potent magical atmosphere and potential." The formula and content of the Hagalaz Rite is not specifically given.

Nevertheless, the Hagalaz Rite I performed naturally supraconsciously (without conscious intent) within the magical context of my fourth rune-dream, namely, The Wholiness Code.

No Ordinary Gargoyle, My Gargoyle

In follow-up to previous posts (Transformation of a Demon Creature and A Safe Home For Gargoyle), I had another odd vision regarding my gargoyle before I went to sleep last night. Many other "demons" were coming en masse to attack my gargoyle, to remove him from being under my protection (odd that my protector is under my protection, but nevertheless he is). They were jealous of him and wanted to tear him apart.

I reinforced his position as being within my circle of protection, added energy to him, and cast the condition such that when any others approach him, he transforms into an awesome radiant being of great power, brilliance and majesty. Others become humbly awestruck by the brightness of his countenance when they encounter him. He's surely no ordinary gargoyle, my gargoyle! I'm taking care of him!

I whispered 'good night' to him, my friend, before I went to sleep.

Transformation Of A Demon Creature

Last night I dreamt.

A demon-like creature with wings landed on the roof over the closet to my bedroom. I heard the thump of its landing. Someone had sent it to invade through the closet and destroy me. From outside on the front porch at the opposite the end of the house where the closet and the creature were, I looked and saw very unusual dark stormclouds in the skies. This storm had been magically created to carry the demon creature here. The storm carried firestones in it - there were no fires in my yard, but I saw one in the yard across the road. Nevertheless, I wasn't afraid of either the storm or the creature. Neither could penetrate (דקר) the sanctity of my space.

I woke up and considered what to do about the demon creature on the roof. At first I thought I might create an expanding energy shield to send the creature off into space. But I decided against that, and decided to keep him. To do that, I simply redirected his face, turning his gaze from toward the closet to toward the space off the roof. I made him into a protective gargoyle and loyal guardian.

Sent to destroy me, the once demon creature turned gargoyle now protects me with steadfast fidelity.

Protective 'Mistakes' Of The Tafsaret

In follow-up to my previous entry (Video Vault On Fire At Universal Studios), I note that Reb Gutman Locks of Mystical Paths writes regarding mezuzot:

To understand, as least on a basic level, why it appears that G-d is smiting people because of their sofer’s mistakes, remember the principle “portion across from portion” (mida kenegid mida). Everything comes according to its measure and for a good reason. Certainly you know that there are no accidents in the world. We may not be able to always understand why any particular thing comes to us, but we do know that it all comes for a good reason.

Agreed.

When something happens to your hand, (seemingly good or bad), you have to ask, “Why did this come to my hand?” In order to be able to understand why that happened to you, remember that it had to come because of something that you did with your hand, not with your foot, or any other part of your body. Otherwise, what hope would there be of ever being able to guide your life? G-d runs the world by the principle of mida keneged mida for this very reason—so we will be able to understand the consequences of our actions. The consequences must reflect the actions.

Why did the man in our story choose that sofer (scribe)? Why did he get that particular mezuzah? All this came for a reason. To lose sight of this is to believe in a random, chaotic world with haphazard results flying down upon our heads.

Agreed.

As far as “magically” changing the mezuzahs, remember the story of Elisha, Master of Wings (Shabbos 49a)? He was caught by the Romans wearing his tefillin when there was a life threatening ban against wearing them. He quickly took off the head piece of his tefillin and tried to conceal it in his cupped hands. When the Roman soldier, threatening his life, asked him what was in his hands, he said that it was a dove. The soldier forced him to open his hands, and sure enough there was a live dove there. Did G-d magically change his tefillin into a living bird? Surely He changed it into the bird, but not with magic.

Clearly, disagreed.

With a gematria of 358, tafsaret (טפסרט) is a rare type of sofer; tafsaret is a feminine scribal artisan described by a Hebrew word of Sumerian roots. From the language of ancient Sumer [1], sar means "write". Taf means "board". The Hebrew verb root סרט carries the meanings of "script", "a tool for designing" and "marking" [2].

The letters of tafsaret contain the root (ספר) of the word sofer (scribe סופר). Yet tafsaret also contains two letters ט in addition to the root letters of ha-sofer. These two letters ט have a combined gematria of 18 (חי) - thereby bestowing "life" into the scribal writing of tafsaret. Specifically, the two additional letters of חי represent the chayah and yechidah soul levels which pertain to actualizing messianic consciousness.

Sentinels Of Chashmal & Smoke Signals MiSinai

I dreamt.

I wanted to go to a warehouse in the midsouth of downtown Danville to get some of my belongings out of storage. A masculine voiceless Voice with me silently spoke, telling me not to go through the business section of downtown Danville, but to "go around" near the edge of the city, through the southeastern corner which ran by the cemetery beside the VA (וא), to get to the warehouse. The voiceless Voice warned me of a Nazi gathering happening in downtown Danville and provided me with an alternate route to go to get to my belongings. I immediately knew the essential and specific content of his transmitted communication without the need of any words to articulate the message. The words which describe the content of the message are my words.

As the voiceless Voice was silently speaking my traveling instructions, I saw giant living forms set in an "encircling line" at periodic distances like sentinels, facing away from me, looking out, like solid dark shadows against the dusk (a liminal crossroads) of the horizon. They were looking out over the land as if guarding me. The living forms reminded me of the giant stones of Easter Island, except those in my vision were not of stone but were dark living creatures. The living forms were also completely bodied, not just heads of stone. Though generally sitting rooted directly upon the ground, they were able to get up and walk an encircling patrol. I saw one rise from a sitting position and walk its circle. The positions of the living creatures reminded me of electron orbits, where each sentinel was like an orbiting electron - I saw the creature as a particle when I focused to see it, but it also existed as a protective wave within the entire orbit of its place. When I relaxed my focus, like Yitzchak, I saw the one I was observing "get up and walk" its orbit.

The living creatures also communicated to my mind in the dream that they functioned as signaling agents - like when sending messages by smoke signals, signalers are stationed at periodic distances from one another at each edge of one complete circle of horizon to the next. The living creatures could communicate danger or other information to one another from one section of the land to the others. They and I were all connected like one huge protective network, communicating telepathically and simultaneously one to each other. I too, was part of the network of sentinels and warned the others of the Nazi gathering, even as I simultaneously moved away from the Nazi gathering, going toward the place where some of my belongings were being stored.

The dream shapeshifted, communicating other information to me. After that, I woke up.

This is a gruesome post, but another dual synchronicity of my dreams and real life with immediate parallel news events must be documented for the scribal record. While the "legs" synchronicity is positive in my dream (Bitachon, Shlomah's Catacomb & The Magic Megilah - where bitachon is associated with the leg of Netzach) and real life (The Victory Of Boudicca & The Temple Of Hod - where Boudicca's Celtic revival is associated with the leg of Hod), both entries e-scribed this past Shabbat, these news events are disturbingly violent. Where the violent energy originates, I do not know, but thank Goddess, it failed to find it's way into my milieu. ברוך דיין האמת

On Saturday night the 9th of February, two brothers 19 and 8 year old, Rami and Osher Twito, borrowed their mother's credit card to go to the Sderot ATM machine to buy after shave lotion as a birthday present for their father.

Within moments, they were lying next to each other in a pool of blood on a Sderot side walk.

Pieces of their legs scattered on the street. One of Osher’s legs was immediately severed.

Osher’s second leg was shattered. Rami and Osher were running for their lives after they heard the RED COLOR siren.

NYC Police Investigate Disturbing Video of Violent Street Brawl

New York City police said Sunday that they are investigating the violent street brawl that was caught on video tape involving some people who may have come out of a nearby nightclub.

The video, first posted on LiveLeak.com and later reported on MyFoxNY.com, shows what appears to be a drunken street fight outside a parking garage in midtown Manhattan.

At one point, one vehicle, which appears to be a white SUV, drives on the sidewalk in an attempt to flee the scene, hitting and knocking down one of the pedestrians.

The NYPD said they are looking for the hit-and-run driver. Local media reports the man injured suffered broken kneecaps and dislocated hips from the incident.

Apopsi Anti-Psi Deflective Filtering

I've found a phrase which describes the phenomenon where news items seem to reflect in a similar manner dreams I've had immediately preceding the "news event" - the dream Peace Talks and the murder of Sean Taylor, for example. That phrase is apopsi anti-psi deflective filtering.

Phaedra Bonewits in Real Energy writes regarding anti-psi talents and the specific anti-psi talents of filtering and deflection:

Anti-psi is a categorical term for psi talents that operate primarily by affecting other psi talents. Several of these anti-psi talents seem to involve the generation of certain psi fields [1] to alter the content, directon, or power levels of other psychic energy fields. Catapsi is the generation of a psychic field of "static" in order to disrupt the data of other psychic energy fields. Similarly, splodging is a kind of psychic yelling meant to drown out competing data. Apopsi is the generation of a field into which other psi fields cannot enter, possibly accomplished by changing these other fields into other forms of energy or apporting them elsewhere. Deflection alters the directions (force vectors) of incoming psychic energies and sends them elsewhere; if they are reversed 180 degrees, the talent can be called returning or reddopsi. Negapsi, or inverting, is the generation of a psi field in which all or most of the information content (data) of an incoming psychic field is reversed, thus turning creative energies or blessings into destructive energies or curses, for example. Filtering is the ability to use apopsi or deflection selectively, thus allowing only certain portions [2] of an incoming psi field to come through. The talent for boosting energy fields is called amplication [3], and dampening for lowering them (also called amping or damping).

Isaac Bonewits writes in Real Magic about the usefulness of anti-psi talents:
The various anti-psi talents can be very useful if you have them under control, for both attack and defense purposes. Anyone who has ever been psychically attacked will know what a miserable condition it can be [4]. There are indeed such things as psychic attacks, though conditions of real disease or hypochondria and paranoia are often responsible for illusions of psychic persecution. Attacks usually take the form of a general feeling of unease, nausea, pain in the pit of the belly, and a definite lack of self confidence. You literally want to crawl into a hole and die. In nine cases out of ten, the attacker will be in your immediate vicinity, and s/he may not be aware that s/he is attacking. How can you defend yourself? If you can master types of anti-psi, you can use (these) as well (for defense).

Now I have a name for what is happening. I also have begun to specifically identify some of my naturally developing "psychic" talents for influencing energy fields.

Wedge 226 - Greensburg Not Grunwald Destroyed

This Friday and Saturday Greensburg, Kansas was 95% destroyed by a series of wedge tornados. The only structure left standing in the entire town was the local pub, the Bar H Tavern. Foxnews reports today:

GREENSBURG, Kan. — A fresh wave of tornadoes ripped through southwest Kansas on Saturday evening, a day after a tornado all but destroyed this town, killing nine and injuring dozens more.

The National Weather Service said it had received reports "well into the double digits" of twisters touching down in six counties.

Among them were a series of half-mile wide "wedge" tornadoes — similar to the one that devastated Greensburg on Friday night, meteorologist Mike Umscheid said.

The black bridge was disconnected from my reversal candle (see entry linked below). I think my enemies were trying to reverse my reversal. They, of course, failed again. The only connection which remained for me was the one between the candle holder (vessel of my souls) and my witch's altar box (of joy), sha'ar gilah.

The third phase of the 3-month reversal and protection ritual was initated this evening of Beltane 5767, with the Moon 100% full in Scorpio (corresponding to the Hebrew letter nun נ).

Daytime ritual preparations were performed on day 28 of the omer, under the influence of Malchut of Netzach (by both the Gra and Ari arrays of the sefirot), during the planetary hours of Pluto (Da'at) and the Moon (dalet ד). The ritual proper was performed counting day 29 of the omer, under the influence of Tiferet of Hod (Gra array) or Chesed of Hod (Ari array), under the influence of the Moon (dalet ד).

Incenses used: kabbalistic name blend, dragon's blood, amber moon (to protect psychic centers) and Satisfaction.

Ceromancy: A hooded Druid-like figure emerged from the burning wax, appearing to "guard" the black Beltane ritual candle; by the time the candle had burned out, the black wax had both dripped down to the base surface and towered up over the candle holder.

The shoresh נדד meaning to "separate", "withdraw" and "distance" emerges from the spell data. Thus, this phase of the reversal and protection ritual finalizes the separation of the curse cast against me from me and from those I love, severing it completely, thereby fully releasing it to return back to its source.

Observations On Today

Reversal ritual #2 was set in motion this evening during the planetary hour of Venus. Some modifications were made to the ritual's original and revised content, but those modifications will not be posted. Nor will the data-notes regarding immediate observations be posted.

Today was a rather good day. Chimes are lightly tinkling as I type this. The candles on my beautified altar are burning peacefully. The scent of cinnamon-vanilla-ginger incense flavors the air, as does the gentle scent of a burning hand-dipped beeswax candle.

I've dedicated a pretty wooden chest-cabinet of drawers for my mystical-magickal supplies. Ah, the pleasure it brings me. It's so organized too! This definitely appeals to the "J" in my INTJ personality. Truly, I am in heaven. A witchy wooden cabinet of drawers! Yum!

I retrieved a few silver items from my treasure chest (I really have one) and polished them up this afternoon. They look real fine! One old chalice (a kiddush cup) was so crusted with tarnish that I thought it might have to be discarded like the glass challah tray that broke a few months ago. But, the chalice cleaned up and looks brand new. Amazing. I have 3 chalices now. One is a goblet-chalice.

The dull headache I've had for over a week (despite many large dose analgesic treatments) in the center of my forehead between my eyes vanished today. I woke up and discovered that it was no more. Yay! Just in time for the full moon esbat reversal ritual too! Thank Goddess!

No more mystical depression of years past. No more mystical headache. I think witchcraft is very good for me.

Did I mention that my little potted herb garden is sprouting up and growing quite nicely now? Little sprouts are poking up from the dirt all over the place and the ones that had already sprouted are growing quickly. I blessed them again today.

Interpretation:

First, a two-letter word immediately falls out into this tarot reading, namely - "no" (לא). In other words, the "Hanged Man" may be trying to stop the reversal ritual. The first month's final portion of the reversal ritual is due to conclude tonight with the burning of the 13th portion of the candle and the burning of the parchment upon which is written the petition spell.

The Hanged Man card mythologically corresponds to the Enchantment of Dyfed. In other words, it pertains to the situation where the kingdom has been "frozen" with respect to movement via a spell of black magick against it.

The fifth tarot position (which the Hanged Man occupies) corresponds to the sefirah Gevurah (also known as Din). This suggests that the black magick enchantment that has been cast over me may be a Pulsa Denura emanating from the sphere known as dina d'leayla. Given the fact that the curse is portrayed by a card of the major arcana (representing the universe of Kadmon), the curse is more likely to be a Pulsa Denura of some sort as opposed to some other type of low level curse.

However, the "Magician" card (in Keter, position 1) has flipped the Hanged Man's לא into "El" (אל). I will be enabled to finish burning the 13th candle portion and spell parchment, despite those who are trying to stop it at a mystical-magickal level. No! to no. So mote it be.

Second, the outcome of the matter is summed up by the ten of wands in the tenth position (from keter in kadmon to malchut in atzilut, dina d'atarah). The ten of wands symbolizes not flinching in the face of hardship and rising to the challenge. It will be done as long as there is still breath in my body.

Black Thread Of לוא

I dreamt.

I traveled with others to a gathering at the fairgrounds outside of a town. I was in the front passenger seat. Someone else was driving.

The fairgrounds had many booths representing many "outcast" peoples. There was a booth there for Israel as well. I was leaving behind "acceptability" to the townpeople of the town by leaving and going to the fairgrounds. I didn't care. I really didn't care. Not one iota. (This is connected to what happened at work yesterday. I didn't care there either. Their threats bounced off me like tiny bubbles. I went to the fairgrounds in the dream and I left the bad situation they had created for me in real life.)

After this, in another place, inside some kind of public room, a large piece of crumpled "whitish" paper maybe a foot or so in size came stealthily toward me in the air near but above the floor. I instinctually put out my left hand against it even though it didn't look apparently threatening.

Yet, it must have been threatening because automatically without commanding it, from the fingertip of my left little finger shot a black string like thick spider silk. It wrapped around the approaching crumpled paper repeatedly, forming an octahedron of encasing black string around it like prison bars. The black string which had shot from the tip of my little finger stopped the paper's approach in its tracks. The two parallel "vertical sides" of the octahedron were longer than the top 3 and bottom 3 "sides" (the diagonal and horizontal "sides").

When the black thread had first emerged from my finger, I had wanted to withdraw my hand - I thought I might be doing black magic. But, the person beside me said, "no, you have to let it play out." The black spider-like thread, though I wasn't controlling it, was a controlled force at a deeper level. The black thread didn't go anywhere but to bind up the crumpled piece of paper that had been stealthily approaching me. It was only "attracted" to the piece of seemingly nonthreatening, but clearly threatening, piece of crumpled paper. I let it play out.

At this point - the Hebrew letters LUA לוא became associated in my mind with the instinctual protective action of the black string. The automatic instinctual protective action is connected to these letters.

I woke up.

Clearly, appearances can be deceiving - the whitish (seemingly good) paper had "evil" intent (to harm me), while the (seemingly bad) black string had "good" intent (to protect me).

Crown Of Testimony

י"א באדר תשס"ז

As the reversal candle is burning during the upcoming reversal and protection ritual, I will be burning the bark removed to make my baresman (ritual wand). Tree bark in Hebrew is קליפת העץ.

קליפת has a gematria of 620, the same gematria as כתר, the crown

העץ has a gematria of 165, the same gematria as מענה, of testimony

Thus, the words and kavanah of the ritual will ascend to the crown to witness on my behalf. The word מענה is found translated as dwelling place in Devarim 33:27.

The ancient G-d is a dwelling-place, a support are the arms everlasting. He drove out the enemy before you, by His command: Destroy!

This a good pasuk for a ritual aimed to remove the power of enemies from my life.

Lev Meivin Da'at

I have amended the reversal and protection ritual to include recitation of Tehilim 91, instead of Tehilim 37 as originally planned. It's a matter of Divine Providence (ע) which leads me to do it, as discussed in the previous entry, Shelter Of The Most High.

From Rabbi Pinchas Winston's commentary on parashat Vayeitzei:

According to the Radak (Tehillim, 91:1), Moshe composed this tehillah in honor of the tribe of Yissachar, who were constantly immersed in the joyous song of Torah. What is the joyous song of Torah? It is shirah, the song of the soul, for, just as the angels are constantly singing praises of G-d and His world, so, too, do our souls sing praises of G-d as well, all the time.

Also from his commentary on parashat Mattos:

According to the Talmud (Shavuos 15b), this psalm is called the "Song of the Plagues," because, one who says it and trusts in G-d -- one who takes refuge in the shadow of the A'lmighty -- will be saved in times of danger.

According to the Radak, Moshe Rabbeinu dedicated this tehillah to the Levi'im, who spent their days in the insulated environment of the Temple -- a true "fortress" of G-d. It was composed the day that the Mishkan was completed, and the Divine Glory descended to envelope it, into which Moshe entered to receive communication from G-d.

And his commentary on parashat Devarim:

"Eleven psalms were forgotten after Moshe's death, and these are the eleven Negative Forces of which there are eleven, the underlying basis of the 'eleven days journey.' The Midrash goes on to say that this corresponds to the eleven tribes that Moshe blessed before his death, in order to weaken these forces which are known to the Kabbalists as the underlying concept of the eleven curtains [in the Mishkan], the eleven spices in the Incense-Offering, the eleven verses that begin with the letter 'nun' and end with the letter 'nun' corresponding the eleven Negative Forces which cause forgetfulness ... which is why the eleven psalms were forgotten ..." (Yalkut Reuvaini in the name of Asarah Ma'ameros, Devarim 13)

Tehilim 90 - 100 are attributed to Moshe. Important to note, the shoresh לנן has two letters nun in it, yet it doesn't "begin" with a letter nun. It begins with the letter lamed ל, symbolizing "a heart that understands knowledge" (lev meivin da'at). Thus, the shoresh לנן is the tikun of one of these eleven negative forces.

It is fitting, therefore, that I recite Tehilim 91 instead of Tehilim 37 in my reversal and protection ritual.
