Disasters That Never Happened

י'א באדר ב' תשס"ח
Raven 12

I dreamt all night last night of tragedies, both personal and global, that never happened. At one point in the night, before I realized that these were things that could have but didn't happen, I woke up crying, tossing and turning before finally falling back asleep to dream more.

I came to realize that these were things that never happened, and thus were not going to happen, because, of the personal things I was shown, all except one was of real events in my life over several decades ago that could have, but didn't result in the tragedy I saw. The only other personal event I was shown revolved around a current concern of mine - I was shown the tragic outcome. Consequently, as all the other tragic outcomes didn't happen, neither will this situation that I am concerned about have a tragic outcome. And neither will the global disaster I was shown - it too, isn't going to happen.

I am so tired this morning.

Place Of Two Pillars On Legs In The News

ה' באדר א' תשס"ח
Keolwulf 6

This is a gruesome post, but another dual synchronicity of my dreams and real life with immediate parallel news events must be documented for the scribal record. While the "legs" synchronicity is positive in my dream (Bitachon, Shlomah's Catacomb & The Magic Megilah - where bitachon is associated with the leg of Netzach) and real life (The Victory Of Boudicca & The Temple Of Hod - where Boudicca's Celtic revival is associated with the leg of Hod), both entries e-scribed this past Shabbat, these news events are disturbingly violent. Where the violent energy originates, I do not know, but thank Goddess, it failed to find it's way into my milieu. ברוך דיין האמת

The first news event. Rocket fire.

A Sabbath Under Fire In Sderot, And Its Aftermath
Sunday, February 10, 2008

On Saturday night the 9th of February, two brothers 19 and 8 year old, Rami and Osher Twito, borrowed their mother's credit card to go to the Sderot ATM machine to buy after shave lotion as a birthday present for their father.

Within moments, they were lying next to each other in a pool of blood on a Sderot side walk.

Pieces of their legs scattered on the street. One of Osher’s legs was immediately severed.

Osher’s second leg was shattered. Rami and Osher were running for their lives after they heard the RED COLOR siren.

The second news event. Hit and run.

NYC Police Investigate Disturbing Video of Violent Street Brawl

Sunday, February 10, 2008
New York City police said Sunday that they are investigating the violent street brawl that was caught on video tape involving some people who may have come out of a nearby nightclub.

The video, first posted on LiveLeak.com and later reported on MyFoxNY.com, shows what appears to be a drunken street fight outside a parking garage in midtown Manhattan.

At one point, one vehicle, which appears to be a white SUV, drives on the sidewalk in an attempt to flee the scene, hitting and knocking down one of the pedestrians.

The NYPD said they are looking for the hit-and-run driver. Local media reports the man injured suffered broken kneecaps and dislocated hips from the incident.

Aliyat Hadorot & The Divine Feminine

י"ב באלול תשס"ז

In follow-up to yesterday's entry, Imhotep & Kriat Yam Suf, here is a recrafted repost of a Walking On Fire entry originally posted May 22, 2006, Aliyat Hadorot.

_________

Beginning with background information from this continuing online discussion:

(Pirkei Avot, on the transmission of Torah since Sinai, contributed by 'int')

Moshe received the Torah from Sinai and passed it on to Yehoshua; Yehoshua to the Elders; the Elders to the Prophets, and the Prophets passed it on to the Men of the Great Assembly.
(Soncino Talmud Chagigah 16a, footnote 42, contributed by 'melech')

In the J. Hag. II, 2 we are told: At first there was no controversy in Israel except over the laying on of the hands alone. But Shammai and Hillel arose and made them four (in Bab. Shab. 14b, only three points of dispute are mentioned; cf. Tosaf. to our passage). When the disciples of the School of Hillel increased, and they did not study sufficiently under their masters (lit., ‘did not sufficiently minister to their masters’), the controversies in Israel increased, and they became divided into two companies, the one declaring unclean, the other declaring clean. And (the Torah) will not again return to its (uncontroversial) place until the son of David (i.e., the Messiah) will come.
(contributed by 'melech')

Pre-Chazal times were seen as perfect (yeridat ha-dorot and all that) and the controversies only arose much later.
(Gate Of Reincarnations, Chapter 37, The Ari, contributed by 'liorah')

Further down to the east there is an opening to a cave with a garden above it, and to the west side of the cave below there are three cracks. That is where Yossi ben Yoezer, Yossi ben Meshulam, and Yossi ben Yochanan are buried-opposite the three cracks.
(Yerushalmi Chagiga 2:2, contribued by 'TipuseiHarim')

From Moshe to the Yossis, who are the first of the pairs who receive the mesorah as listed in Pirkei Avot, no conflict of halacha arises which cannot be settled.

Yossi ben Yoezer and Yossi ben Yochanan disagree over whether semicha (pressing hands to the head of an animal about to be sacrificed) should be performed on yom tov. This dispute passed through all the zugot, down to Hillel and Shammai (note: 4 or 5 generations later), who added three additional bones of contention (note added: at which time disputes and forgetfulness of Torah increased).
(Temurah 16a, contributed by 'TipuseiHarim')

Chazal says that torah was forgotten by the end of the days of Yossi ben Yoezer.

4 Key Areas Of Disagreement Leading To Torah Being Forgotten

Taken together, the data suggest that there were 4 key areas of disagreement which led to Torah being "forgotten"; the first being the disagreement between Yossi ben Yoezer and Yossi ben Yochanan over semicha and the later 3 during the times of Hillel and Shammai.

Link To The End Of Days

"The language is that by the end of R. Yossi ben Yoezer's days, torah was forgotten" hints to the idea of "the end of days".

First & Subsequent Splits Leading To Forgetfulness

The two Yossis and Hillel and Shammai are 4 men. The "end of days" can refer to the dark feminine principle.1 So, it seems to me a possibility that the third Yossi (ben Meshulam) not mentioned with the 2 Yossis (ben Yoezer and ben Yochanan) who initiated the whole forgetting thing is connected to a split - Yossi ben Meshulam (masculine force) and "the end of days" (feminine force) of one "whole" Yossi, leading to forgetfulness in the feminine force which was expressed as forgetfulness in the masculine force in the time of Hillel and Shammai - see what I'm saying? The whole idea of "forgetting" Torah is linked to the separation between the Divine Masculine and Feminine elements.

There is 1 key area which led to forgetfulness in the feminine, and 1 + 3 = 4 key areas which led to forgetfulness in the masculine.

Master Key To Remembrance, Semichah & Transmission

Consequently, it seems to me that Yossi ben Meshulam is the single master key in the remembrance of the feminine (see Ark of an Enigma), who can in turn "undo" the other 3 areas (see Chest of Manifestation) which led to forgetfulness in the masculine.

Aliyat Ha-Dorot

This is further supported by the fact that pre-Chazal generations were seen as yeridat ha-dorot given that the expressions dor dor, dor v'dor and/or dor l'dor represent an unwanted separation and discontinuity between Netzach and Hod.1 Consequently, the phrase yeridat ha-dorot implies the opposite of separation between these two sefirot. In other words, the phrase yeridat ha-dorot implies a 4-fold unity of the "two sons of Yosef" (Yesod) with Netzach and Hod prior to the dispute between Yossi ben Yoezer and Yossi ben Yochanan. A 4-fold reunification of these sefirot could be called aliyat ha-dorot.

It makes sense too, given that Hod and Netzach are related to learning and transmission, respectively.

Importantly, aliyat hadorot is inextricably interwoven with the idea of the Divine Feminine; that is, She who hasn't forgotten (Torah and He, represented by Yossi ben Meshulam sans split).

Mechitzah

י' בסיון תשס"ז

I dreamt.

A powerful evil wizard ruled the area and had stolen my husband's treasure, making us poor among the people. The evil wizard and his minion of witches and warlocks would kill us if we tried to retrieve our treasure from him. Our treasure was a most powerful, coveted treasure.

The evil wizard and his troupe of magicians put on a show of entertainment for the local population. The stage sat below many rows of seats in a big building that served as a central organizational place. My husband and I went to the magicians' play like everyone else in the area. I knew I was a powerful witch. In fact, I was a more powerful witch than all the witches in the evil wizard's minion combined. More importantly, I knew it, and I was going to retrieve our treasure.

At one point during an act on stage, audience participation of witches was invited. I got up and went down from the greater audience to sit among the front rows with the other witches who had volunteered to "do magic" before the two witches on stage. The two witches on stage were facing each other with their hands held up, fingers outspread, facing closely but not touching, the corresponding hand of the other witch. They were casting some kind of magic spell.

A big black cat like a black panther guarded the stage and came out into the audience to get each witch who had volunteered to "face off" (from below and before the stage) with the witches on stage in a demonstration of witchy showwomanship. Each time he came to get a witch for her turn, he passed me by and wouldn't choose me for any turn. Finally, I was the last volunteer witch left in the front rows. The black panther came to choose me. "I saved you for last", he spoke. Even if the neither of the witches on stage nor the ruling wizard nor any in his minion knew it, the black panther knew it - I was an unusually powerful witch. And he had saved me for last.

I went down before the stage and stood before it, facing the two witches on stage. I held up my hands, fingers outspread just like the two witches - only I didn't face another witch to cast my spell. I worked magic alone, my outspread fingers opened into the air. I swayed, saying nothing, casting a spell of words unspoken. No one realized what I had done. Finishing my witch's spell, I went back to my seat in the audience beside my husband.

The magic show over, the audience went home, and I waited for the oppressive system to fall apart, to retrieve our treasure. It began.

The central organizational building was going to collapse into the earth. I knew it. Somehow, the wizard now had an inkling as to what I had done, and all his own efforts to prevent it would bring his system down. I made my way, as did some other poor women like me, to the outer edge of the building so that I could escape when it collapsed and wouldn't be sucked into the pit of the earth.

My husband and all the other poor men like him of the community were caught in their workstations in a huge blast. My husband and the other men like him had also been at the edge of blast area. Their eyes had been blinded shut by the blast, but being at the edge, they had survived.

My husband and his men, like myself and my women, were thrown face to face, against a clear glass-like pane with bars in it. The barred glass-like pane formed a barrier separating the men from the women - each husband and wife opposite one another. The men were hard pressed and blind against the glass-like separation. The women were hanging from the edge of the pit into which the big building had collapsed, swallowing up the evil wizard and his ruling minion.

I looked across at my husband, separated from me by the glass-like pane with bars. His eyes were shut. Open your eyes and look at me! I commanded him. See me! I commanded him. He struggled to open his eyes. I struggled to hold on, as he had commanded me (he must have commanded me to hold on because I struggled to hold on, just as he struggled to open his eyes to see me as I had commanded him). He opened his eyes. As he opened his eyes and saw me opposite him, the separation became permeable to him. He reached across through it with both hands and grabbed both my hands. Our fingers intertwined. We were reunited, face to face, hand in hand, fingers intertwined, the separating barrier melting away.

I woke up.

Gavriel, Daniel, Anna & Chanah

כ"א בשבט תשס"ז

I'm not sure the connection, perhaps some failed sympathetic magickal operation aimed against me, but there are some interesting coincidences I'm noting between my dream earlier of being the archangel Gavriel and news later the same day of the sudden death of Anna Nicole Smith. She was only 39 [1] years old. Next to the CNN story about Anna Nicole's sudden death, there was even a front page story about a snake attack, just like snakes were also sent to attack me in my dream.

Gavriel appears by name in the book of Daniel in association with the End of Days. I live in a town called Danville. Daniel is the name of Anna Nicole's son (who died suddenly earlier this year) and 5-month old Dannielynn Hope is her now motherless daughter. The age of Anna Nicole's daughter is pentagonal, like the center of my pentacle [2] here. My middle English name is Ann and my second Hebrew name is Chanah (meaning "favored").

Like I wrote, the coincidences strike me. Death didn't strike me though. For that, I give thanks.

Footnotes:

[1] 39 is 40 less 1, where 40 is both a pentagonal pyramidal number and an octagonal number

[2] pentacles are considered to be protective devices among witches

Open Mysteries Of Vayechi & Filling The Athame

I engraved my athame this evening. Among the inscriptions are:

statement of intention: אתהפכא חשוכא לנהורא
my Jewitch craft name Lleucu in ogham letters
my Hebrew name in Hebrew letters לֵיאורהּ חנה
a pentacle
a magen David
mezuzah inscriptions as discussed here
a cauldron spiral triskelion
seals: so mote it be and ברוך שם כבוד מלכותה לעולם ועד, אמן
a unique alef
a 3-headed and a 4-headed shin
YHYH יהיה

The engravements look, well, handmade. Ok, this tool is definitely mine now.

AMaR - EMeT - AMeN

This shabbat (Friday night) of parashah Vayechi, I am going to dedicate my engraved athame. אמר. On the next Dark Moon (Thursday night, January 18), I am going to consecrate it. אמת. On Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Shevat (Friday night, January 19), I am going to "empower" it - prepared for Shevat as discussed here. אמן.

According to my Artscroll chumash (p. 268, Stone Edition):

In the entire Torah Scroll, Vayechi is unique in that there is no extra space between it and the preceding parashah, in contrast to the general rule that a Sidra begins on a new line or that it is separated from the previous one by at least a nine-letter space.

In other words, having no extra space, here in parashah Vayechi whose mysteries are open to the Dark Feminine "End of Days", it is filled with double blessings and brilliance. אמר אמת אמן

Masoret, Key To The Temple

Temurah 16a:

Chazal says that Torah was forgotten by the end of the days of Yossi ben Yoezer.

The language used in the phrase "the end of his days" is l'sof yamav. The masculine light of Yossi ben Yoezer is aur yashar, the straight light, represented by the aleph-beit in the order of rachamim, mercy (מדת הרחמים, middat harachamim). The first and last letters of the order represent the whole order, similarly to a name pasuk in the kabbalistic tradition. Consequently, the letters א and ת represent the entire מדת הרחמים. Together, these letters form the word et, את. Tradition teaches us that את comes to add.

The feminine order of the aleph-beit is the order of din, judgment (middat hadin, מדת הדין). Just as את comes to add, the first and last letters of the feminine order are תא, a cell of the Temple. Each cell of the Temple was completely dark, emanating the dark essential light of night, the aur chozer.

Taking the masculine and feminine orders of the aleph-beit together, we see that את comes to add to a תא of the Temple. Consequently, at "the end of his days", where "his days" refers to the masculine order of the aleph-beit, there is ideally a cell of the Temple to receive it.

So, why was Torah forgotten at the end of ben Yoezer's days? Answer - because there was no תא of the Temple at the "end of his days". In other words, there was no feminine force found to balance him and as his ezer knegdo. This balancing feminine force represented by the word תא begins with the letter ת.

Interestingly, it took 400 years1, from the end of nevuah (at the end of ben Yoezer's days), to arrive at the time when makhloket began to greatly increase, i.e., the time of Hillel and Shammai. Four hundred is the numerical value of the letter ת, the first letter of the feminine light. The letter ת is HaShem's seal (chotem) of truth in creation.

This is the truth-seal of 4002 in creation to be unsealed at "the end of days" (acharit hayamim) mentioned in Sefer Daniel (12:4,9). Sefer Sha'are Orah (R. Yosef Gikatilla) tells us that "the end of days" refers to the dark feminine force3, to Lilith. Lilith is the key to the Temple. Importantly, the essential nature of Lilith (representing the dark feminine force) is necessarily Holy, given her key connection in the Temple.

Taking all this together, we can see that:

1. The dark feminine force is the key to the Temple.

2. The dark feminine force is the key to unsealing the mysteries of "the end of days" and consequently, to initiating the "days of redemption" and the era of mashiach.

3. The dark feminine force is the key to yemot hamashiach.

4. The dark feminine force is the key to renewing the institution of nevuah and to reunifying this institution with the wisdom of the sages, thereby merging wisdom and prophecy into "a single stream of enlightenment".

5. The dark feminine force is the key to unlocking and releasing the brilliant light of (תא) ein sof (את), which is ein sof aur (אתתא) from the Malchut of Echad.

Footnotes:

1 The (second) Temple stood for approximately 400 years. Nevuah ceased at the beginning of this period, and Hillel and Shammai lived at the end of it.

2 There are 400 gematriot about the lengths of times the Temples stood.

3 The feminine "end of days" (acharit hayamim, ra'oh) is the reverse vision of the masculine "end of his days" (l'sof yamav, chazon
