A Cherub Sans Sword

In follow-up to my previous entry (Bestowing Abundance), where I discussed the appearance of the shefa of Yesod surrounding this evening's supermoon full moon, it should be also noted (as Wiki informs us) that "the archangel of this sphere [Yesod] is Gabriel, and the Cherubim is the Angelic order." In Jewish mystical tradition (as Mystical paths informs us), the Cherubim are associated with the revolving sword of consciousness which prevents re-entrance into the Garden of Eden:

The sword that prevents us entering freely into our own deeper levels of con­cen­tration and understanding is created and strength­ened by mis­de­mean­our, moral or religious errors. Thus, con­versely, moral purity, as described by the Torah and Masters, can less­en or even remove this sword.

Importantly, according to the Zohar (as Kabbalah Online informs us), the magickal Hebrew letter associated with a sword of the Cherubim, that is, the sword of judgment, is the Hebrew letter vav (ו):

The vav is the body of the sword, the six directions of the world ...

The power which showed its face in my world tonight was the hand of the Cherubim (as opposed to the sword of the Cherubim).


The Encyclopedia of Angels informs us about the hands of the Cherubim:

Their hands are under their wings and their feet are covered by their wings; they have horns of glory upon their heads.

Sounds alot my artistic photographic rendition of tonight's supermoon (see picture) - I've got got a cherub here tonight sans sword.

A Blessing For The Sisterhood

I received this blessing from a friend, and while I don't do chain letters, I do wish to extend the blessing to all of my spiritual sisters in this journey of life. So, I am posting and dedicating the essence of the blessing contained within the chain letter to all my friends.

May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Empowerment

This morning another friend of mine tells me she has been told that when teeth shatter in dreams it indicates weakness and loss of control. She likes my interpretation better - for my interpretation is empowering whereas the other interpretation is disempowering.

Indeed, as written in Called Up By Goddess, the shattering of illusions is very empowering. This is an important distinction to understand.

When our illusions (which are inherently false and disempowering by nature) are shattered, we are being made stronger and our minds are being sharpened [1] - both resulting in true empowerment. Contrary to the other interpretations which have been told to my friend, we are NOT WEAK to have been chosen by Goddess to have our illusions shattered, rather we ARE STRONG enough. And, we may indeed lose control of our illusions, but through it, we GAIN CONTROL of our minds.

So, I reiterate - teeth dreams are good dreams to have. Moreover, they are blessings from Goddess through which we are empowered toward and brought closer to our own inner Goddess.

Last night before bed, I drew the seventeenth rune of my personal runerow. It was Nauthiz (pronounced now-these), the 'n' rune of change linked with the forces of destiny. An omen of good and necessary transformation, this rune also pertains to banishings, cleansing counterspells, and spell sealings. Nauthiz is the runic equivalent of the ritual words: so mote it be and אמן (amen).

In follow-up to this divination last night, the only unusual thing that happened in my environment today is that my boss left in a hurry this afternoon, telling us that her house had just been broken into. Otherwise, today was unremarkable and uneventful, except for the fact that I am swamped with work to do for end-of-the-month close and with writing complete clinical care plans for seven new Medicare admissions. Our skilled unit is completely full and our average Medicare rate remains, at month-end, excellent and increased above the our year-to-date average Medicare rate.

This evening is the full Elf Moon - and it is (like my two Beltane shaman stones) seamlessly connected to my dream Two New Chapters Of Destiny.

In British folklore:

There is a legend concerning the Buckthorn vows that if one sprinkles Buckthorn in a circle and then dances within it under a full Moon, an elf will appear. The dancer must notice the elf and say, 'Halt and grant my boon!' before the creature flees. The elf will then grant one wish.

One species of Buckthorn is Alder Buckthorn. Alder Buckthorn mystically links the feminine and masculine principles to create balance and harmony (Tiferet) within an individual. When felled, an Alder Buckthorn tree literally bleeds, turning from white to red. Resistent to rotting from water, Alder Buckthorn was often historically used to build bridges, boats and milk jugs.

The Song of Amergin verse corresponding to Alder Buckthorn is this:

Blessed By The Ancestors

In follow-up to my commentary (Karet - Cursed By The Ancestors) on this week's Torah portion, in contradistinction to the curse of the Ancestors is the blessing of the Ancestors. The curse is brought upon an individual and upon the individual's "collective folksoul" through failure to be true to and to actualize one's uniqueness in sacrifice to the group. The blessing is brought upon an individual and upon an individual's "collective folksoul" through active fidelity to one's uniqueness within the group and through active resistance to the tendency to move toward a group norm (which ultimately is corrosive to the evolving development of the "collective folksoul").

Two Half-Shekels - Arousing The Collective Folksoul

In Celtic Witchcraft, the blessing of the Ancestors is called hywl - "in Welsh the word more often refers to a complex and intangible quality of passion and sense of belonging that isn’t easy to translate but which has been said to sum up Welshness in a word."

In Jewish Kabbalah, the blessing of the Ancestors is called achdut - "in Hebrew the word more often refers to a complex and intangible quality of passion and sense of belonging that isn’t easy to translate but which has been said to sum up Jewishness in a word."

Pesach Esbat Blessing, Ruach Ha-Olam

My bedroom is jammed with craft supplies and tools with which I am using to handcraft items for my etsy shoppe WITCHCRAFTS by Liorah Lleucu. My own spell bottle of Passover Protection Ritual Oil stands before me as I compose this entry. I made one for my mother as well who wanted one too as soon as she saw the etsy listing and mine.

Last evening (erev Pesach, a full moon Esbat) as I was puttering around with my supplies, I set several of them on my bed as I was organizing. Among the items I set on my bed was the bowl of ceremonial white sage in pure spring water that I had been softening up to make a shamanic smudge wand. The bowl of sage water became jostled as I was moving things around and I spilled some of it on my bed and on one of my fine long black brocade witch skirts. The particular witch skirt is one a coworker recently remarked to me that it was a "beautiful" skirt, which it surely is. It's so elegant and finely flowing.

Anyway, instead of making a smudge wand with this batch of white ceremonial sage, I decided to offer the softened sage and the sage water to the Land instead. And I did so under the power of the full Raven moon of erev Pesach, offering it to the spirits of the Land right outside the door of the house beside the porch on the right.

Later this morning, I had a waking vision of unseen forces working together trying to pull my bed out the door of the house. The doorframe was bulging as the unseen forces worked together trying to pull it out, but the Force inside the house and door frame resisted, keeping the bed securely and completely inside the house. The manner in which the door frame resisted reminded me of a biological opening, with strong muscles contracting closed. I felt the forces trying to pull the bed out of the house were baneful forces, seeking to steal my blessing in some manner.

The forces trying to pull the bed out of the house through the door were facing and pulling directly opposite the door from upon the concrete sidewalk (in contradistinction to the spirits of the Land on the right side of the door where I had offered my sage and sage water). In other words, the spirits of the Land were in alignment with the Guardian of the house which rested upon the Land. The forces working from the concrete were alien forces.

Clearly, the spirits of the Land and the Guardian of the house are superior in strength to the alien forces which sought to steal my blessing.

There is power in the Land.

Unexpected Blessing Today

My father bought my mother a 14K gold 1/2 carat 7-stone marquise cut diamond ring for their 50th wedding anniversary. Only a mistake was made - when the ring was ordered, two rings instead of one were purchased. They were purchased on sale at a substantial discount, a very substantial discount. So, rather than send the second ring back, they offered to let me buy it from them over time. Is that not cool or what?

The ring is absolutely stunning and not something I would have ever purchased for myself under normal circumstances. It is just such a good deal for me though and relieves my parents of returning it and trying to get their money back.

Such an unexpected blessing! I've never owned anything so dazzling.

Just wow. That Passover Protection Ritual Oil and its magical sale are loaded with blessing. I would never have imagined the magic to begin working as well and as quickly as it did!

Today is my oldest son's birthday. It is also Sabbat Ostara, marking the spring equinox.

Today, I filled and adorned two bottles of Passover Protection Ritual Oil (which had been prepared on Purim and set aside at that time for later completion). The two bottles of Passover Protection Ritual Oil completed today were filled and adorned during the planetary hour of Mercury, with the waning crescent moon 28% full, and with the sun in the 29th degree of Pisces in the 8th degree of the constellation Pisces.

I'm planning on taking pictures of the two bottles and listing them for purchase at WITCHCRAFTS by Liorah Lleucu sometime this weekend or early next week prior to the official opening of my etsy shoppe March 29 so that they can be delivered to whomoever may purchase them in time for Passover April 8 (should anyone actually want to acquire them for their ritual observances). My photography skills are not professional at all, but I'll do the best that I can.

These two bottles of Passover Protection Ritual Oil are true ritual treasures, offered in the spirit of sharing the magic born of spiritual liberation. The price for each of these two bottles of ritual oil will cover my cost only - no monetary profit will be made from them.

It is with this spirit that I bless those who might purchase them, I bless the spirit of WITCHCRAFTS, I honor my oldest son's birthday, and I honor the spirit of the holy days, namely Purim, Ostara and Passover.

Coarse Grains Of Redemptive Blessing

In follow up to Transformative Pesach Prophecy, several elucidating ideas emerge from Ceridwen's cauldron of transformative prophecy.

Pesach-Beltaine Connection

Pesach Sheni is May 19 (Iyar 14, corresponding to the time we count the 30th day of the Omer) and astrological Beltaine (Beltaine Sheni) is May 4 (Annwyn 30) this year of 5768. Consequently, both Pesach Sheni and Beltaine Sheni come together through a "time" value of 30.

Ceridwen is associated in Celtic witchcraft with Beltaine. Yet, Ceridwen delivered to me a prophecy associated with Pesach. Taken together, Ceridwen represents for me stepping above the time of both, transcendently joining together Pesach and Beltaine.

As a lunar goddess, Ceridwen is linked with blessings bestowed through Yesod into Malchut. Pesach Rishon this year is April 20 (Nissan 15). The full moon of the witches' month of Annwyn is called the Drawing Down The Moon full moon, also on April 20 (Annwyn 16), suggesting a time through which the redemptive blessings are bestowed is April 20, which is the date of both Pesach Rishon and the Drawing Down full moon of Annwyn.

Grains Of Redemptive Blessing

The blessings bestowed from Ceridwen's cauldron are redemptive, drawn down from the powerful full moon which marks redemption from Mitzrayim, which is Pesach in Jewish tradition.

In Celtic tradition, six sacred grains of spellcraft were brewed as a grael in Ceridwen's cauldron. In terms of middot (measures), 6 grains = 388.79346 milligrams.

388 is the gematria of למשיח meaning "belonging to Mashiach"

79346 represents the five letters ודגטז, where five identifies the Divine Feminine of both Binah and Malchut. The five letters have a combined gematria of 29 - the same gematria as a Torah word used in Bereshit 48:16 to bestow blessing upon both children of Yosef, namely וידגו meaning "and let them grow".

And Yisrael blessed them saying, "let my name be named in them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth."

Taken together, Ceridwen's cauldron contains and "bestows the receptive" blessing "belonging to Mashiach" and "of Yisrael", suggesting that Ceridwen is the unified feminine archetype corresponding to masculine Yisrael. Importantly, Ceridwen represents she who bestows the blessing which ignites messianic consciousness, causing it to grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth, as waters cover the sea. Within the letter-sets of both blessings are the letters of the sha'ar (gate) דג, implying quick multiplication in great numbers.

The word וידגו (of Yisrael's blessing) begins with the letter ו, with a value of six, like the six grains of spellcraft brewed in Ceridwen's cauldron. Similarly, the letter-set ודגטז (of Ceridwen's blessing) also begins the the letter ו.

Yet differently, the word of Yisrael's blessing ends with a ו (the letter of connection) while the letter-set of Ceridwen's blessing ends with a ז (the letter of selection). Thus, Ceridwen's blessing represents the extension of Yisrael's blessing into manifest reality. Also, his blessing contains the letter י (a letter of projective energy, שפע), while her blessing contains the letter ט (a letter of receptive energy, קבל).

Ceridwen (Boudicca) and Yisrael (Yaakov) are parallel quantum coarse grains (one primarily an involutionary stream and one primarily an evolutionary stream of consciousness), who together, decohere consciousness into manifest history as described in my poem Coarse Grained Histories, Dialog With The Divine.

Mesorah Of The River Mnemosyne

My maternal grandmother, Gladys Collins-Faulkner, granddaughter of Sue Turner-Grunwald and Will Grunwald, daughter of Elizabeth Grunwald-Faulkner and George Samuel Faulkner, mother of Cheryl Collins-Taylor and grandmother to Liorah Lleucu HaMasovevet, passed over early this morning of Samhain, Ram Cheshvan 19, האלון full of years at the age of 92.

Mnemosyne was also the name for a river in Hades, counterpart to the river Lethe, according to a series of 4th century BC Greek funerary inscriptions in dactylic hexameter. Dead souls drank from Lethe so they would not remember their past lives when reincarnated. Initiates were encouraged to drink from the river Mnemosyne when they died, instead of Lethe. These inscriptions may have been connected with a private mystery religion, or with Orphic poetry. (Wiki on Mnemosyne, Titan Goddess of Memory and Inventor of Words, One of three or four Elder Muses and Mother of nine Younger Muses.)

As a Mother of Eternal Life and a Mother of Muses, in the pure family tradition and mesorah of natural witches, may my grandmother, as I did preincarnately (described here and here), drink from Achdut, the River of Eternal Memory, the River Mnemosyne, and remember. Remember!

We are One.

I love you Grandma. May our memory be a blessing and carry us through it, to it, the brightening and the brilliance.

Line Letter Key

I dreamt.

My son Michael was going to fix my car. He needed a key to do it. I saw the key he needed to fix the car.

There were two rows of line letters (like Celtic Ogham), each written from right to left as Hebrew is written. Ogham is normally written left to right like English or in a vertical down-to-up arrangement.

Although each line letter of both rows was made of lines (similar to but not eactly like the Ogham), the letters were not on a druim stem-line as Ogham letters are. Each line letter was distinctly separate from (yet touching) the letter next to it (reminds me of a chatoteret).

The top row of 14 (yad hagedolah) line letters was longer than the row below it. I didn't with intent count the number of letters in the top row, I just knew it. The number of line letters in the shorter bottom row was not revealed. The top row of 14 letters was the key my son needed to fix the car. The row below of hidden number was my secret alone.

On the 14-letter row, the only line letter that was definitely an Ogham letter was the final letter, the 14th letter. It was a Huathe, the sixth letter of the Ogham.

I woke up.

Huathe has an "h" sound, is represented by the Hawthorne tree, suggests an obstacle (like a locked lock) or desire, corresponds to dark blue or purple, and is a symbol of both protection and female sexual power. As a positive force, Huathe rewards past action and brings one to encounter life filled with Divine Benevolence.

Path Of Anointing Blessings

Today's Hebrew letter tarot reading was performed with the new moon dark into Leo, during the planetary hour of Venus.

The 3 letters:

reish-samech-kaf ר-סך

Reish (ר) symbolizes the point of decision [1]. It is a point of chaotic bifurcation with the power to radically change the course of the world.

Samech-kaf (סך) symbolizes the decision path one steps upon following the bifurcation point - that is, being anointed with oil (Divine blessing and sustenance).

The path I am on is so.

Uniting Opposite Manifestations Of Providence

Significantly, my last two Hebrew letter tarot readings each began with a letter representing Divine Providence in one of its manifestations, united together in my tarot practice.

Thursday's reading began with the letter tet, representing teva (nature).

Today's reading began with the letter nun, representing nes (miracle).

According to R' Yitzchak Ginsburgh, these two particular letters "allude to a juxtaposition of the two seemingly opposite manifestations of Divine providence, nes (miracle) and teva (nature). In truth, not only do these two Divine manifestations complement one another; they are in fact intended, with the coming of Mashiach, to "blend" together and become one."

Interestingly, given all my "time messages" today, the quote above was excerpted from a blessing on time.

Emerging Revelation Of Divine Benevolence

י"א באב תשס"ז

Today's Hebrew letter tarot reading was performed during the planetary hour of Venus with the waxing gibbous moon 90% full, nearing the void of course going into Capricorn.

The 3 letters in order:

tet-tav-yod טתי

These letters represent the word spelling (טית) of the Hebrew letter tet, except that the yod is in the third position in my reading as opposed to in the second position as with the spelling of the word tet.

Immediately, the tarot letter configuration brings to mind my dream this morning, Lily Power Plant.

The movement of the letter yod represents the misting water that hovered and spilled over in a controlled fashion from the edges of the covered cauldron waterfall, generating tremendous power. Tet represents concealment of Divine benevolence. Yod, my dream and this tarot reading suggests emerging revelation of Divine benevolence into my life and into my world through the path of tav, the final letter of truth-emet (אמת).

Blessings Descend Upon Covered Eyes

In my previous entry I discussed Bilaam's experience of prophecy with uncovered eyes, correlating "uncovered" to "unprotected", while Ibn Ezra posits "uncovered" to mean "open" in terms of "open" to receive prophecy.

"Openness" would make sense in terms of receiving prophetic cursing, which Bilaam was hired to do.

In contrast to prophetic cursing, reception of prophetic blessing depends on "covered" eyes. Rabbi Yaakov Asher Sinclair writes regarding the "prophetic" blessings which flow from the Kohanim:

In the time of the Holy Temple, when the kohanim would bless the people, they would raise their hands over their heads and make a space between the third and fourth fingers of hands. When they recited the blessing using the ineffable Name of G-d, the Shechina, the Divine Presence, would rest on their hands. Although the Shechina no longer rests on the hands of the kohanim, to this day they still cover their heads and hands with their prayer shawls when they recite the blessing.

But maybe we could also understand a different symbolism behind the covering of the kohens hands.

Our Sages teach us that blessing only descends on things that are hidden from the eye, that the eye doesn't see.

Thus, we can understand that blessings descend when, like the hands of the Kohanim, the eyes are covered. Consequently, the kruv which covered my lifted eyes this past Shabbat during the tarot reading, also brought to me blessings, which at that time were hidden from my "covered" eyes, where the Presence of the blessings only today I now see.

My new employer is very happy. Our census is now at an all-time record high. This means that incoming revenues are correspondingly at an all-time record high. Really high. No one who has worked there for any period of time even remembers the census ever being this high before.

This also means that I've been very busy at work. But, I really like my new job and all the people there. It's an excellent facility.

Essence Of The Black Jaguar

A black panther is not a leopard. A black panther belongs to the jaguar (יגאור) family, like in the title of the book which returned me to Torah - The Quark and the Jaguar (by Murray Gell-Mann). A black panther is like a blue rose among spotted jaguars and roses of many other colors.

From Answers.com about jaguars:

The base coat of the jaguar is generally a tawny yellow, but can range to reddish-brown and black. The cat is covered in rosettes for camouflage in its jungle habitat. The spots vary over individual coats and between individual Jaguars: rosettes may include one or several dots, and the shape of the dots varies. The spots on the head and neck are generally solid, as are those on the tail, where they may merge to form a band. The underbelly, throat and outer surface of the legs and lower flanks are white.

A condition known as melanism occurs in the species. The melanistic form is less common than the spotted form — six percent of jaguars in their South American range have been reported to possess it— and is the result of a dominant allele. Jaguars with melanism appear entirely black, although their spots are still visible on close examination. Melanistic Jaguars are informally known as black panthers, but do not form a separate species. Rare albino individuals, sometimes called white panthers, occur among jaguars, as with the other big cats.

Melanism is a "dark coloration of the skin, hair, fur, or feathers because of a high concentration of melanin."

Melanin - transliterated into Hebrew מלא נין means "full to abundance with grandsons". מלא specifically means "having everything", "having full value" and "conferring authority" [1]. Thus, upon my grandsons I confer "all" authority and bless them with "everything" fully and completely, as were each of the patriarchs blessed with (כל) "all" [2].

What distinguishes a black jaguar from a spotted leopard-like one is both the integration of it's rosettes into its hairy coat dark of color at the genetic level and it's concentration "full to abundance with grandsons".

This regarding the essence of the black jaguar, epitomizing the strong feminine essence, is true for me - the black coat bringing down and integrating understanding and knowledge (rosettes of binah and da'at) into my own personal experience in malchut, and it's essential distinctive concentration bringing out the fact that I am a grandmother blessed with 5 grandsons. Kabbalistically, the "grandson" of binah is rectified malchut. I have 5 grandsons in real life - Tyler, Cameron, Devin, Logan and Trentin.

Blessings brought down through all universes - Adam kadmon, atzilut, beriyah, yetzirah and assiyah.

Indeed, the essence of the black jaguar is mine. I accept it.
