Last night I dreamt.

Time was ancient, but as one among a small tribe, I was living on the same land I am living on currently. On the far left horizon, an approaching sound could be heard coming from among the trees of the ancient forest. It sounded and was seen to be like the Langoliers and a gathering of smoke monsters (like in Lost) before being seen, "uprooting huge trees with enormous force". My tribe and I knew they were dangerous, and we moved beyond the fence on our right which separated our camp in that time from a different time. Beyond the fence, on the right of it, we moved into a different time and beyond the reach of the Langolier-like creatures which were fast approaching. We had escaped safely into another time and the land upon we stood was an open field.

I woke up. Then I went back to sleep and dreamt again.

This time, I was a teenage girl among a medieval tribe. We lived on the far right horizon and had been driven out of our ancient homeland in the middle by another ancient tribe on the far left. My tribe was preparing to return to our ancient homeland and our menfolk were preparing for battle. I had a teenage boyfriend who was also preparing for the battle to reclaim our ancient homeland in the middle (by heading toward the left as the Langoliers had approached us from the left and forced us to retreat to the far right). I had gotten into trouble (in the sense that they were mad at me) with the elders of the tribe for being an outspoken tart of a girl somehow and was sent "to the side and out of the way." But, being an outspoken tart of a girl, I snuck back in among the soldiers to also go into battle, and came to the side of my boyfriend as all were preparing to advance to the battlefront. My boyfriend sent me on an important errand - it was away from battlefront, but I understood that it needed to be done for the battle's ultimate success and I was the only one who could do it. Reluctantly, I disengaged from being among the troops and went off to do the important errand that only I could do.

I woke up.

And today, wasting no time, I did what I had to do - I asked uncomfortable questions and advocated for other MDS Coordinators in the organization. Then, after lunch, I got fired for "making me (my Administrator) look like I (she) can't control my (her) employees."

Of course, she is right. She can't control me.

One Light - Lighting The Coel Coeth

The Lesser Sabbat of the winter solstice (namely Yule, Geul, Giuli, Meán Geimhridh, Lá an Dreoilín, Modranicht, Alban Arthan, ...) in the northern hemisphere of the earth (my location) falls after sunset on the evening of December 21. This date is the seventh of Grael in the witches' calendar and the fifth of Tevet in the Jewish calendar; both dates fall within the month of the Elder Moon in the Celtic tree calendar.

On Yule and its connection to the magic circle of the witch, Mike Nichols writes:

"Ultimately, of course, the holiday is rooted deeply in the cycle of the year. It is the Winter Solstice that is being celebrated, seed-time of the year, the longest night and shortest day. It is the birthday of the new Sun King, the Son of God -- by whatever name you choose to call him. On this darkest of nights, the Goddess becomes the Great Mother and once again gives birth. And it makes perfect poetic sense that on the longest night of the winter, 'the dark night of our souls', there springs the new spark of hope, the Sacred Fire, the Light of the World, the Coel Coeth." At the Winter Solstice, the Circle is not yet a Circle; it is a Point. Specifically, it is the point at which spiritual energy manifests itself into the physical world. It is the divine spark, the sacred seed, the single cell, the incarnation, the universe in a mustard seed. In some ways, the Point is more inclusive than the Circle, since the Circle always implies a boundary, and a separation of that which is outside from that which is inside. The Point, however, can symbolize the All. At the Winter Solstice, we bless and purify this tiny dust-mote of Being, this Birth of the Circle, which is also All That Is. The Circle Is A Point.

Thus, Yule is the perfect sabbat in which to ground and from which to cast a magic circle in and with sacred time. Blessed be our circles this Yuletide, every one, with the amazing sacred power and joy of Yule -

- the Hebrew word for the redemption of humankind's collective consciousness is called Geulah (גאולה). The Germanic and Northern European words for Yule - Geul and Giuli - would be spelled in Hebrew גאול and גאולי. The Hebrew shoresh (three letter root) of all these words is גול (gule, yule) meaning rejoice! and express joy!

Festivals Of Fire In Time

In follow-up to Through the Fires of Time, there are four festivals of fire in stellar time. These are the Greater Sabbats, the High Holy Days, of traditional Celtic witchcraft.

The four Fire Festivals can occur anywhere between 29-59 days following the preceding solstice or equinox. Apices of feminine power in time, these sabbatot are Imbolc (between Yule and Ostara), Beltane (between Ostara and Litha), Lughnasadh (between Litha and Mabon) and Samhain (between Mabon and Yule).

The Lesser Sabbats of the solstices and equinoxes (namely - Mabon, Yule, Ostara and Litha) are yearly lunar power points linked to the earthly feminine biological cycle. While times of imbalance in the solar cycle, they are times of power for the feminine Earth.

The Lesser Sabbats ground us with the full feminine power of the Earth Mother. The Greater Sabbats, the cyclical Fire Festivals in the wheel of the pagan year, expands our consciousness into the otherworlds of the heavens, and fill us with the full power of Goddess.

A friend of mine inquired this evening as to the potential meaning of a dream in which her teeth are shattered. While we are each the ultimate masters and mistresses of our own dreams, I too, have had recurring "teeth dreams" ever since I was a little girl (and I am now a grandmother of six). Consequently, I am inclined to believe that my own significant experience with "teeth dreams" qualifies me to interpret such dreams in a general manner.

Generally, the turnover of teeth can represent a period of powerful change or transition driven by the Divine Feminine force of fire. Teeth dreams are good dreams signifying that Goddess is driving forward a major transition in one's life. Goddess is calling the dreamer up to the task of further spiritual development, to do greater magic.

When teeth are shattered, this usually signifies that our illusions are about to be shattered. How strongly we hold onto or how easily we surrender the illusions Goddess wishes to remove from us largely determines how painfully or peacefully we may experience the transition through which our illusions will be shattered.

Letting go of our illusions is a very important part of spiritual development - to be engaged and challenged by Goddess to do so is a challenge that is merited in some way. Only the worthy are called up to the test.

Teeth are also directly related to time, and specifically to the witches' wheel of the year, through the Hebrew letter shin (ש).

The Constant Of Kinna Ha-Katuv

In follow-up to The Mystery of Urcanaan and Mystery of the White Bull, some notes to the mysteries of time travel and the masorah:

Last evening watching Lost, I was introduced to The Constant. The constant functions as an anchor for time-travelling consciousness and prevents the progressive physical side effects (leading to death) of time travel.

Interestingly, the episode of The Constant "follows (time-traveller) Desmond's 1996 consciousness in one continuous narrative between the two years." The year 1996 is the year I "returned to Torah."

Also interestingly, in the episode, the time traveller's eyes are examined (just as eyes are relevant in Mystery of the White Bull). The freighter in the episode on which the eyes are examined is named Kahana. Not unimportantly, yesterday I also added to my Twitter a person referencing Meir Kahane and a JIDL twitter site - both had added my Twitter site to their own. "JDL" is known from my past to have alot of "Kahanist" members, at least it used to.

In my entry The Mystery of Urcanaan (סתר ורכנען), I made a scribal change to the Torah text, transforming a curse into a blessing. Such scribal emendations are known, not only as tikkunei sofrim (corrections to the text), they are also known in the halakhic midrashim as kinna ha-katuv (כנה הכתוב), the constant original text.

The words Urcanaan and kinna are derived from a common sha'ar (two-letter gate of nun), that is - the letters kaf (כ, power to actualize potential) and nun (נ, Divine Feminine), where the letter hei (ה, actualization through thought, communication and action) of kinna (כנה) becomes the Hebrew letters ayin (eye, ע) and nun (fish, נ) to make the central word of Urcanaan (ורכנען), namely Canaan (כנען), the ancient pagan people.

Rune Of Shabbat Rest

There are seven runes and one 'empty space' in my runic name. The seven runes of my name shall correspond in my life to the seven days of the week.

As Odin is the chief Divinity in Germanic tradition who guides souls, mediating between the conscious and unconscious realms, so too shall Odin's day (Wednesday) guide the week in my runic practice. Thus, the first rune in my name corresponds to Wednesday, the second rune to Thursday, the third rune to Friday, the fourth rune to Shabbat ... the fifth rune to Sunday, the sixth rune to Monday and the seventh rune to Tuesday.



Interestingly, under Odin's guidance, the fourth rune in my name corresponds to Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath day of rest. The fourth rune in my name is also the rune of rest, namely Isa. Beside Isa, rests the empty space in which the Soul of Shabbat Consciousness is pulled into manifest existence.

All my Ancestors and the mysteries of the magical alphabets I've inherited from them are in harmony within me. Peaceful and full of well-being is my inheritance. It is כל טוב, all good.

Ancient Time Cycles In My Life

My earlier entry (Time For Changes) suggests a Saturn Return-like period in my life, but I'm only 48. Given my age, what is happening right now in my life cannot be clearly linked with a Saturn Return astrological event occurring in my life. Nevertheless, the suggestion bears good fruit.

Considering the possibility of a Saturn Return brought to my mind another period in my life which could similarly be described as Saturn Return-like.

In the summer of 1996, I "returned to Torah". Thus, 1996 clearly marks an earlier Saturn Return-like upheaval in my life similar to the one of the present time. It is now the summer of 2009 - 13 years later.

The 13-year cycle clearly evident in my life may be a microcosmic reflection, first of the 13 katuns associated with the prophecy cycle in the short count, and second of the 13 baktuns in the long count, of the Mayan calendar. According to the Mayan calendar we are currently in the 13th baktun.

The 13th baktun will come to a close on on 13.0.0.0.0 (December 21, 2012), turning time over into the 14th baktun. December 21, 2012 is a Capricorn solstice. I was born under the sign of Capricorn. But as written in my previous entry, I have choices. I shall be buried under the sign of Pentacle.

Time shall move on. And so shall I.

It isn't fate, it's destiny.

Ancestor Mysteries & The Tree Of Transformation

A reader emailed to me an inquiry regarding ancester mysteries. His question may be answered in the dream(s) I had last night.

Up Through Time, The Snake Tree

For some reason it wasn't such a good thing to be a head of this family. The reason was not so much because of the family, but because of the position of being the heads. The heads were in the most dangerous unprotected position in the family and more vulnerable to attack.

Adam and Eve were the heads of this family tree, literally. The entire family line was joined together like a single organism in the form a tree. Adam and Eve were the head trunk-limbs. The head trunk-limbs were in the form of two snakes branching up straight and high through time together from the main trunk of the snake tree. Their heads were at the summit of the tree, their faces like two pieces of white fruit among the uppermost leaves. Like fruit, the heads of Adam and Eve were always in danger of being eaten by the ancient animals of the primeval forest-garden.

One ancient animal flew up like a bird to the snake tree. The ancient creature had a long sword-like bird-like beak, but like a spider's jaws might, the ancient bird thrust into one of the fruits of the snake tree (which was really an individual human) below the heads of Adam and Eve. Like a spider, it injected venom into the human which was a fruit, liquifying the innards of his body. Then, like a spider might, the bird sucked out the juices of fruit-human, eating him this way.

It was not easy to be a human in those days, when humans were like fruits on a snake tree.

Down Through Time, Folding Over Continents

I've forgotten much of this dream, but it pertained to ancient family matters through time as well. It also had a stellar aspect to it, including the idea of finding lost family members down through time. It had an element of cataclysmic nature in it too.

We were from the stars, but in folding over the north american continent, many were drowned under the sea, lost in time. I remember vowing to find you, stepping out from the sea onto the new shore to do it. I had not been drowned by the sea, and like a mermaid, had survived the cataclysm of folding over continents.

The Snake & the Fish, Two Totem Meanings of the Hebrew Letter Nun

The Hebrew letter nun in modern times carries the Aramaic meaning of fish in the sea. The Hebrew letter nun is derived from the ancient pictograph meaning snake.

In my dream, Adam and Eve were formed like two sofiyot, like two straight extended final letters nun extending through time.

Prophetic Kabbalistic Witchcraft, As Above So Below

Every night before I go to bed, I do a quick dream divination using my Well Worn Path witchcraft deck. Last night, using these cards (which I keep by my altar in a handmade Dark Forest Divination pouch), I drew the card 'As Above So Below.'

'As Above So Below' is also a kabbalistic teaching of the Hebrew letter nun.

Complete alignment and harmony exist throughout my Celtic-Jewish shamanic practice of kabbalistic witchcraft.

Gates Of The Great Rite

In follow-up to my previous two entries (Sanctuary Of Delight and Consummate Life To Enliven), where it is brought forth that even as the Gates of Prayer are closing and the Gates of the Temple are opening, I further note that connected to these Yom Kippur Gates of "closing" and "opening" are two Gates of the Celtic New Year, Beltane (now closing) and Samhain (now opening).

The Gate of the Celtic New Year is opening (as are the Gates of the Temple), becoming fully open at Samhain. Samhain is the Gate to the dark half of the year (corresponding to Essential consciousness). Beltane, the Gate to light half of the year (corresponding to emanated awareness), is closing (as are the Gates of Prayer).

The two Gates of the Year, represent a time of consummate interinclusion among the worlds (of both witchcraft and kabbalah) where worlds unite - symbolized by the Great Rite ritual (the originally "hidden" divination card) - to bring forth that which is greater than anything in the worlds alone - an experience of Essential Being.

In my previous two entries (Mystical Mabon, Selicha Of Witches and Mabon & The World Of Rectified Order), it was brought out that Mabon is distinguished by two sounds - those of the Hebrew letter tav (as the seal marking preparations for the New Year day of Samhain/Rosh Hashanah) and of the Ogham letter muin (designating the time as one of speckled perfection).

The Sephardic pronunciation of the letter tav has the sound "t".

The Celtic pronunciation of the the letter muin has the sound "m".

Together, they form the sound "tam". The Hebrew word tam means "perfect" and to "connect together" flawlessly.

Mabon is a perfect time, a tam z'man.

Tzohar, Mountain Of Time With The Sun In A Circle

I dreamt. These are the details I can clearly remember, which begin somewhere in the middle of the dream. The beginning of the dream has since faded beyond discrete memory.

There was a mountain. I and two other women were in a room within the mountain. A man was there with us. He and his father were doing and had been doing experiments over time with time. They kept trying to stay one step ahead of time "catching up" to their whereabouts in any particular time, because if it did before they "fixed it", all creation would be annihilated.

The man and his father had set up a nuclear-like bomb to go off deep within the mountain, which would destroy the mountain built of time. We would be killed or forced into another time. That is, those of us who were eternal would be forced into another time. Real, manifest time.

The man and his father knew each of them were eternal, but wasn't sure about we three women in the mountain's room. We would either be destroyed in time when the bomb went off or, if we were also eternal, we would jump through time with the man and his father.

The bomb went off, destroying the mountain of time. We were all thrown through time into a huge enclosed room rapidly filling with water. A serpent may have also been in the water with us. We would all drown in the room if I couldn't really do magic and get us out.

Suddenly, we were in a gypsy camp. A woman was reading my timelines off lines on each side of the spine appearing on another woman's back. The man was employing the woman to read my timelines on the other woman's back to see if my timelines were related to his. He was doing this because, on my back, my 'timelines' existed as a single timeline directly over the spine. For some reason, the one timeline on my back could not be easily read directly and had to be read as two timelines on the other woman's back. It was dangerous and would be lethal for a man to read the single timeline of a woman whose timeline was not directly connected to his.

The woman reader's words as she spoke to the man regarding my timelines were increasingly suggesting to the man that I was the one whose timeline was connected to his throughout all time. The woman upon whose back my timelines were being read didn't like this news the reader was providing to the man. I felt the woman whose back was being read was a rival of some sort. She didn't want the timelines on her back to lead to me and refused to let the woman reader read my timelines any further. The woman upon whose back my timelines had been read, got up and informed the man that he would have to read the single timeline directly on me if he wanted any more information. In other words, she wasn't going to give up her place in the running of potentials and concede victory to me so easily. She got up and walked away from the reading place. The man had no choice but to try and read my single timeline directly from me if he wanted to ascertain surely the connection of our timeline. He decided to try.

Suddenly, I alone was a woman underwater. I rose up to the surface of the river-sea and found myself near the door to a wooden boat-like raft-like house. I had been escorted to the surface and to the door of the rafthouse by two male corpses with copper pennies covering over their eyelids. (It reminds me now of the River Styx.)

The door opened and the rafthouse became more raftlike. A man stood upon its surface deck with a wooden staff like a ferryman. He saw the two corpses with the four copper pennies over their eyes. Then, he accepted me and plucked me up with his staff out of the water and pulled me onto the raft where I rested.

Suddenly, an iron framework came down from above or rose up from below around we two on the wooden raft. The iron framework consisted of four equally spaced iron poles turning inward and upward toward an iron circle zenith to which they connected. It was the framework of a temple room. The circle was open at the top like a paneless window, a tzohar. The four iron poles came out from the outer surface of the circle window. Its broad dome-like form reminded me of the temple of Newgrange.

I was laying upon the surface of the wooden raft looking up through the iron encircled window above me into the moving grey sky.

I woke up, laying in my bed. Yet, the visions of my dream continued. Even as I listened to the thunder outside, I saw tattered storm-cut video tape flapping in the wind off the wooden joints of the raft upon which I was laying. It reminded me of the video tape used to make the wooden raft in the film Cast Away, which I had watched last night. Near the end of the film, as the man is about to be rescued at sea, there is a scene of the man laying on his wooden raft after a storm with a brief scan of the battered and storm tossed raft still being held together by tattered video tape.

Suddenly, I saw an alignment coming and looked up toward the iron circle above me. The sun was moving into alignment with the circle's opening over me. The sun moved left to right into perfect alignment within the circle. The sun perfectly fit into the frame of the circle from which its light focused down. Exactly onto me. It reminded me of הנץ החמה.

The waking vision ended. I got up and recorded it.

Cheshbon HaNefesh & The Secrets Of Time

At the cusp of the tenth zodiac house, the House of National Soul, rests the zenith of the natal chart known as Midheaven (Medium Coeli, MC). Midheaven, situated above the place of birth, is the superconscious point connecting the incarnating life-force to it's mission goals for the particular lifetime into which it is evolving. In my sidereal natal chart, Midheaven is set in Taurus (Shor).

The mazal of Taurus (corresponding to the power of the letter vav) contains the pristine and rectified spiritual origin of the nefesh soul and brings out into purposeful revelation:

radiance and light
the powers of contemplation, introspection and calculation
natural healing
mastering the secrets of time
the power to connect and interrelate all elements within creation

Thus, the "national" origin of my nefesh is represented by the Hebrew letter vav and my introspective Torah is a radiant, light-filled, healing, masterful, connectively creative vav-Torah.

T-Square & The Time Of Mashiach

T-Square from Mid: 12Tau27 to Ven: 10Aqu16 and Plu: 13Leo42

The above code describes the T-Square found within my natal chart. On the T-Square phenomenon of astrology, holistic health consultant Dr. Loretta Standley writes:

A T-Square or T-Cross is when two planets are in opposition aspect to each other (180 degrees) and both making a square aspect of (90 degrees) to a third planet. It's an isosceles triangle!

Both square and opposition aspects are supposed to be stressful aspects, which can panic the neophytes in astrology when they see they have a T-Square in their natal chart. This is a frequent chart aspect in most successful people. Most successful people can tell you that their success has had its ups and downs, yet they keep moving toward their intended goal. T-Squares give a person experience, wisdom and character.

Therefore, you will more than likely see T-Square's in the natal charts of CEO's, leaders, famous or creative people because there is nothing that would stop them from attaining their goal. And because of the challenges they experienced, this makes them all the more successful since the focus was brought about by the T-Square.

Look to the planet that is at the 90 degree angle (of the T-Square) and then look directly across to the other side of the chart and THAT is the point focus. What planet is there and what sign is it in? If there is no planet there, then look at that particular house to see what the house focus is.

In my natal chart, there is no planet or aspect directly opposite Midheaven (the point at the right angle of the T-Square, joining heaven and earth) in the fourth house of home, family and ancestry in Scorpio/Cheshvan. Of the house of Scorpio/Cheshvan, with no astrological points in my natal chart, R. Yitzchak Ginsburgh teaches:

Cheshvan is the only month which has no holidays or special mitzvot.We are taught that it is "reserved" for the time of Mashiach, who will inaugurate the third Temple in Cheshvan.

This is another interesting link of my natal statistics to messianic consciousness and the messianic temple.

Dr. Standley further writes on the T-Square:

Having a T-Square is like driving a car with 3 wheels. It's obvious you're only driving with 3 wheels so identifying and fixing the problem is fairly easy. If you drove a car with three wheels, you'd have a fairly Good idea what to do in order to fix the car and make it driveable.

The "problem" to be overcome in my case, that is, the focus of the T-Square, is easily identified as "the problem" of having no special holidays or mitzvot during Cheshvan, the house of Scorpio. I've overcome that in the singularly special mitzvah I was given as I was incarnating - Mitzvah Written In The Stars.

My Natal Torah Portion Via Yad HaChazakah

My Natal Chart[1] (click for larger view).

"The ascendant of a given geographic location at a given point in time is the point on the zodiac which coincides with - i.e., is ascending over - the eastern horizon as viewed from that place and time."

The ascendant on a natal chart wheel is located where the horizontal line intersects with the left side of the wheel.

In my own natal chart, Virgo (Elul, left hand - yad hachazakah, action, pintele yid, days of reclamation) governed by Mercury is on the ascendant. Thus, communication, intellect and awareness exert considerable influence over my chart and throughout this lifetime.

From The Chassidic Dimension, Rambam states in Yad HaChazakah:

The Torah portion of Chukas begins with the laws of the Parah Adumah, the Red Heifer, whose ashes were used to ritually purify a person who had come in contact with a dead body.[2]

The Rambam states in Yad HaChazakah, Laws of Parah Adumah[3]: "Nine Parah Adumos were made from the time it was first commanded until the destruction of the Second Beis HaMikdash. Moshe made the first; Ezra the second; and seven more from the time of Ezra until the destruction of the Temple. The tenth will be made by Moshiach.

Z'man Grama - Raising Up Results In Time

In traditional Judaism, women are typically exempt from "time-bound" (z'man grama זמן גרמהּ) ritual mitzvot such as laying tefillin. In other words, it is thought that women are not usually considered obligated to perform rituals which have a specific time associated with their performance. Women are told that such rituals are called "time-bound" because the rituals must be performed at a certain time (not conducive to performance by a woman), but the actual meaning of the phrase z'man grama is to "produce/cause/bring down/raise up results into time/life."

Z'man comes from the shoresh זמן meaning "time", "preparing" and to "designate for a purpose". [1]

Grama comes from two shorashim. The first shoresh is גרם meaning "lever motion", "joining limbs that cause movement", and "steps leading forward and upward". [1] From this shoresh comes the word גָּרַם meaning "to cause, to produce, or to result in." [2] The second shoresh is רמם meaning "raise from a low level", "elevating", "exalting" and "bringing to life." [1] The word grama (גרמהּ) ends with a hei mappik (הּ).

Taken together, the phrase z'man grama means raising up results in time which sustain and nourish life.

Time-bound mitzvot, then, are rituals of action as is wearing my ritual tefillin-handflower, which brought down this dream which utlimately raised up the result of protection from the evil energy of a lion attack. Thank Goddess neither I nor the boy who experienced the lion attack in a real way were killed (see links).
