Chutzpah

Politics aside, I admire a woman like this.

Pulitzer prize-winning photo by Oded Balilty is of an Israeli woman in Amona who is "resisting dozens of police who have come to evacuate her."

Nili, the young woman in the photo.
YNet interview with Nili.

i'm sorry to write something so terribly off topic, but i need to ask for help. something is horribly and terribly wrong inside me over and above the obvious and i do not know who to turn to, or for that matter why i am turning to you for help other than i am getting the vaguest feeling that you might be able to. I'm terribly sorry to bother you.

It isn't a bother. I'm not really good at giving advice though. I'm not too astute in that area. But, I can try to answer if you'd like to get my opinion regarding something and feel I might be able to help. There is nothing "obviously wrong" with you that I've noticed, so I don't know what you are referring to by that. If you don't want to post your question on the blog, you can email me at liorah@net66.com. Of course, I'm not a rabbi and everything I might tell you would be my personal opinion and thought on the matter.

Also, I just checked the contact info in my profile. I apologize if you've tried to contact me via aol - I don't use AIM and have forgotten how to use it actually, so don't contact me that way. One of these days I'll get around to updating my profile info. Again, sorry if I haven't responded to any aol messages.
