אַל-תִּתֵּן לְחַיַּת, נֶפֶשׁ תּוֹרֶךָ; חַיַּת עֲנִיֶּיךָ, אַל-תִּשְׁכַּח לָנֶצַח. (Psalm 74:19)
Give not the soul of Thy turtle-dove unto the ravenous company; forget not the company of your afflicted ones for ever. (words of the old Goddess Nephesch)
My patroness, Frau Holle, the ancient earth mother goddess of Old Fate, snow, spinning and illumination is also know by the names Holda, Hulda, Hel and Hela. As Hel and Hela, Frau Holle is an Underworld and Death goddess. She is also one of the Jotnir, the deities of the Jotunfolk (Giants). I am of her bloodline and she has claimed me.
Afflicted with scoliosis (I wore a back brace for 4 years as a teenager to straighten my back), general skeletal deformities are a characteristic of those of the Jotun bloodline from the Iron Wood clan. My personal history with anger, extreme introversion, cold detachment of personality, and the tendency to "hibernate" in my own space also suggest that Frost-thurse and Mountain-giant clan-bloods also mix in mine. All of these are giants of the Rökkr.
Rökkr means twilight, a liminality which partakes of both Night and Day. It also refers to the Hagazussa (hedge-sitter), a title worn by Hela, my patroness. Hagazussa is the root of the German word hexe (witch).
Rökkr means shadow, the soul, the visible testimony of what exists within. Helheim, the Land of Shadows, is Hel's country in Niflheim. Nifl is another form of Rökkr. The children of Nifl (the children of Hela - the Nifl-Hela) are known in Semitic legend as the Nephilim, the children of the pre-Mosaic goddess Nephesch, the dark counterpart of the light goddess Shechinah.
Darkness is the core foundation of light. Without darkness, there is no light. Light is itself a mask worn upon the face of darkness for a time, until it's life energy is spent. As darkness is the foundation of light, we can see then, how it is that the Death Goddess is also a Goddess of Illumination.
As Hulda, the Death Goddess is known for her transpersonal compassion, but it is a compassion that does not lie, no matter how hard the truth may be to take. There is no softening comfort sitting at Hulda's table - spiritual evolution, not mercy, is Hulda's focus. Yet Hulda's compassion is quietly full, noninvasive and protective - she provides a safe place for healing and full acceptance, warts and all. The monster within, the untouchable, the rot - don't try to pretty these things up with Hulda - these things are holy to her.
The hard healing truth which leads to spiritual evolution - this is what you get from the Death Goddess Hulda, and this is also why Hulda is the prophetess sought out by Kings in Semitic legend.
Life is wasteful, but Death wastes nothing.

Waves of the Sea
כ״ד באדר תשע"ב
Keowulf 27
Alder 1
Alot of interesting synchronicites converge on this day.
FIRST, I dreamt last night (well, actually this morning) of the sea rising up on the coast where, in the dream, I was. The sea rose up as a mighty tidal wave roaring toward the land, wiping out everything in its path. Well, not everything exactly.
I was in a big building on the shore by the sea with a small group of people. To avoid the destruction of the building and to prevent floodwaters from entering the building and drowning all of us, I and another person, held a large sheet of white material across the open doorway (which had no door). We two held the white material across the doorway at very specific places which we intuited to be the only places where holding the sheet across the doorway could protect us. It didn't matter that the sheet flapped open in the air every other place where the sheet was not being held by us. Holding it as we did, where we did, kept the building standing intact and unbreached by the floodwaters of the tidal wave as it rolled in across the land and submerged the building under the sea. The tidal wave came over the land, submerging in the sea water my group's building and everything outside it. The wave rolled past and the sea retreated, but we knew another tidal wave was coming.
This time, we knew that covering the door was not the needed action to protect us. This time, I and the other person from the group stood at the glass window which faced the sea as we looked out of it. We turned our backs against the window, looking into the room of the building. We just knew the action to do to protect us from being drowned by the sea wave and to keep the building standing against the might of the wave rolling in. My child ran up to us as we stood with our backs against the window, waiting for the rising sea and its tidal wave to reach the land. I grabbed my child up in my arms and set the child down in front of me, turning also the child's back to the window in alignment with ours as we stood strong against the onslaught of the sea. Now there were at least 3 of us standing guard in opposition to the massive sea wave - myself, a man and a child. The wave came, covered over the building, and moved on as the sea again retreated from the land.
We went outside the building and saw all of the destruction, but our building still stood despite being being struck twice by tidal waves which had deeply covered and swept over it. We knew another wave was going to come, we worried another strike by the tidal wave might be more than the building could withstand despite our protective actions, and we wondered if we should try to run to the highlands to escape it or stay put in our building - we didn't know if we had time to make it to higher ground before the next tidal wave struck.
I am quickly losing memory of this part of the dream, but there was a building structure near me outside which I specifically observed and took note of in my line of sight, and I also remember that the prophet had said something once to me about two days (not directly about the building or the tidal wave, but in riddles), and while I can't remember the exact words, the prophet had spoken of these days in such way that I knew that the building would still be standing for at least two more days from that day (in the dream), as the prophet had spoken of the building's presence (in the prophecy) on a day two days into the future (and a day without tidal waves) from the day (in the dream). I knew that no matter how many waves hit our building, the building would withstand it, as it had at least two more days left of Presence in the world - the prophet had seen and spoken in note of our building when speaking of a day two days into the future. The waves would not last for two days into the future (I just knew this as a matter of fact), so we decided to stay in the building to ride out the rest of the waves until they subsided. I woke up.
SECOND, later this afternoon, my mom called me to watch an old black and white movie about to start on television which she thought I'd like. I got up from my computer and went to watch the sweet film - A Portrait of Jenny. Simply wow, on so many levels. It's a love story about an artist and a Fae woman - a woman (his timeless soul mate throughout all time) he never had the opportunity to meet in real (current) life because she had died from a TIDAL WAVE before they had met in his current life. Nevertheless, she found him. (I hadn't told my mom about my dream before the movie at all.)
THIRD, after watching the movie, I came back to my computer to write of these two synchronicities, but decided to check out the posts on some of the blogs I haunt before beginning with the task of writing my own blog post. Interestingly, one of them has written today, "the WAVES are great" in Australia down under.
My universe is today talking all about great waves. And one thing the universe is telling me is to not worry about any of the waves which may come, because I will still be standing after the waves are all long gone.

Israeli Family of Five Murdered In Terror Attack / Japan Earthquakes / Prophetic Poetry
Raven 10
A family of five was slaughtered in Israel this past shabbat as they slept at home in their beds. Among the slain was a three month old infant. Particularly wrenching, Foxnews reports:
Following an inspection of the scene I spotted an infant of about three who still had a pulse. We engaged in lengthy resuscitation efforts but had to pronounce him dead,” he said. “The murder scene was shocking. Kids’ toys right next to pools of blood.”
The synchronicity of my early morning pre-shabbat post of "prophetic poetry" is not lost on me, although the message the Universe has for me in fullness in this is not clear - except that the answer to the question is "yes."

Dreams And Visions On The Divine Feminine Power Of Resistance
ט' בסיון תש"ע
Mab 10
Last night I dreamt.
I was visiting a small town to the east of me in the midwest. The small town was not any which inhabits my real life. The entire town consisted of magical practitioners. There was a murdering group loose in the town, but the townspeople suspected among themselves that there was a single murderer and that it was me, because I was not a native of the town. Even though I knew that there was a renegade group as opposed a single individual who was doing the murders, I couldn't identify the individuals who comprised the group. The town was investigating me. I was investigating members of the town. The group of murderers was alert to the murder investigations, and that I had them on my radar. They hid and laid low.
As the investigations proceeded, it became clear that the town was in trouble. The land upon which it stood and to the south of it was shifting due to activity in the earth's core and mantle. A huge wall of molten earth and lava rose up in the south like a tsunami wave. But, as it approached the town, when it saw me, the face of its surface cooled and crusted, forming a wall of crusted earth with molten lava dammed up behind it. For now, the town was safe. I knew that if I left the town at this point in time, the cooled crusty face of the dammed lava wall would melt enabling the wall of molten earth and fiery lava to pour down upon the town.
I began waking up. As I was waking, I saw the land making up the west coast of the United States collapse into the bowels of the earth. Then, the sea poured in and covered over where the land had been.
As I was opening my eyes, words spoke through my mind saying, "your path is diverted." In my mind, I knew that the path of my life, unseen by me, had been leading me toward moving or traveling to the west coast, but now that path had been diverted. My life path is not heading me toward the west coast any longer.

The Wyrd Numbers Of Urcanaan
ז' ברמחשון תש"ע
Phasma Priscus 8
Yesterday, early shabbat afternoon, I wrote my Torah commentary on parashat Noach, The Mystery of Urcanaan. Immediately following that, I wrote Samhain Mitzvah Runes, designating runes for this mystery through which the darkness of a curse is transformed into the light of illumination. Bear with me for the rest of the story.
Just last weekend, my brother and his wife turned me on to a television series I had never seen before called Lost. Last weekend and this past week, I started watching episodes of the past five seasons to learn the story and prepare for transmission of the final and sixth season beginning May 2010. After the first episode, I was hooked. This series is an amazing mystical mythology. I love it. The mystical connections in it are real.
Thursday night, I dreamt of an ancient ever-changing mystical mechanical structure hidden in the ground from which I emerged through a normally impenetrable door in the ground penetrable through a secret code only known by a few. The next day, I didn't make the connection of this dream to the hatch found in Lost, but after Shabbat's precognizant blog postings and the episodes I watched Saturday evening right after making the postings, I saw the connection.
Motzei shabbat I watched the episode called Numbers - the numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42) in the episode are believed to be cursed, just like Canaan was believed to be cursed (in the Torah portion of my commentary) until I transformed that 'irrevocable' curse into a manifest blessing through the stones of transformation (וַיֹּאמֶר, אָר וּרכְּנָעַן) in my first precognizant blog post, The Mystery of Urcanaan. The 'cursed numbers' are revealed in Numbers to be written on the side of the mechanical structure hidden in the ground (like in my dream Thursday night), excavated by a few of the lost survivors.
Motzei shabbat, after watching the episode Numbers, I watched the episode Deus Ex Machina. This episode ended with "Locke disappearing into the jungle to return to the hatch. Pounding on the door and screaming in anguish atop the hatch, Locke laments what has happened. Suddenly the hatch window is illuminated, sending a shaft of light into the sky," - just like the uruz rune was illuminated, sending a shaft of light into the world in my second precognizant blog post, Samhain Mitzvah Runes!
Totally wyrd. The dream of the hidden mechanical structure and the blog postings occurred before I watched Numbers and Deus Ex Machina.
I emerged from 'the hatch' in my dream. I haven't yet seen the Lost episode where the hatch is opened, but in researching it, I see that through the hatch is found The Swan. In Celtic tradition, swans possess the healing powers of the sun and water. Swan also represents radiant divinity and feminine royalty.

Ancient Time Cycles In My Life
י"ד בסיון תשס"ט
Mab 14
My earlier entry (Time For Changes) suggests a Saturn Return-like period in my life, but I'm only 48. Given my age, what is happening right now in my life cannot be clearly linked with a Saturn Return astrological event occurring in my life. Nevertheless, the suggestion bears good fruit.
Considering the possibility of a Saturn Return brought to my mind another period in my life which could similarly be described as Saturn Return-like.
In the summer of 1996, I "returned to Torah". Thus, 1996 clearly marks an earlier Saturn Return-like upheaval in my life similar to the one of the present time. It is now the summer of 2009 - 13 years later.
The 13-year cycle clearly evident in my life may be a microcosmic reflection, first of the 13 katuns associated with the prophecy cycle in the short count, and second of the 13 baktuns in the long count, of the Mayan calendar. According to the Mayan calendar we are currently in the 13th baktun.
The 13th baktun will come to a close on on 13.0.0.0.0 (December 21, 2012), turning time over into the 14th baktun. December 21, 2012 is a Capricorn solstice. I was born under the sign of Capricorn. But as written in my previous entry, I have choices. I shall be buried under the sign of Pentacle.
Time shall move on. And so shall I.
It isn't fate, it's destiny.

Midnight Sun In The Land Of Promise
כ"ב אייר תשס"ט
Annwn 23
Gevurah sheb'Yesod
In follow-up to earlier entries - Magical Joy and Sage Witch Wand - I note today a vision I had last night (during the 37th day, which is five weeks and two days of the Omer) in response to caressing the new witch Elder wand (made from the branch of an Elder tree in Wales) I received yesterday from the UK.
As I lay down to bed last night after 'oo-ing' and 'ahh-ing' over each nook and cranny and knobby knot of my new wand, I was startled by the joyfully smiling vision of myself as a little girl when I was about seven or eight years old, my life so full of promise, beaming her radiance directly at me. I was embraced by waves of joy in loops of loops, and continue today to be wholly embraced and permeated by the profound simple joy and contentment of meeting myself face to face in this Land of Promise.
In the tradition of Irish Faery Witchcraft, the Land of Promise is called Tir Tairnglre.
In Jewish Kabbalistic tradition, the Land of Promise is called Ha'aretz Hamuvtachat (הארץ המובטחת).
Here, now ... I am in it.

Law Of The Behimah
י"א ניסן תשס"ט
Raven 11
This morning I had a waking speaking vision [Formless Fire]. Coming awake, I [Dreamer] saw a glowing coal [Stone] emerging [Star Father] from the midst [Weaver] of darkness [Well]. Simultaneously, the word "thirty-eight" uttered [Utterer] through my mind.
The glowing coal is of the kelipat nogah, the inner neutral sacred ground shared by the animal soul [Dream Walker] and the Divine soul [Star Walker], made possible and actualized into reality only through the Torah of the behimah. The behimah [Surface Walker] makes it happen.
The number thirty-eight refers to the sha'ar (gate) חל, meaning to occur, to take place, to happen, and to apply the law. It also pertains specifically to the Divine Feminine. The Hebrew letter chet (ח) pertains to Binah and Hod (both numbering 8th of ten sefirot, depending on perspective of observation). The Hebrew letter lamed (ל) pertains to the Yesod [Guardian] of Malchut [Ancestor, past present and future] through the 30-day monthly feminine cycle of the Moon. Thus, חל corresponds to a woman who has integrated these emanant aspects of Being into her made awareness. In other words, חל refers to a woman who can make it happen, who has actualized into reality to bring into Being the neutral sacred ground [Surface Walker] within which the animal soul and the Divine soul are in perfect peace and complete harmony, united and seamlessly integrated into a simple whole.

Ancestor Mysteries & The Tree Of Transformation
כ"ו אדר א' תשס"ט
Keolwulf 27
A reader emailed to me an inquiry regarding ancester mysteries. His question may be answered in the dream(s) I had last night.
Up Through Time, The Snake Tree
For some reason it wasn't such a good thing to be a head of this family. The reason was not so much because of the family, but because of the position of being the heads. The heads were in the most dangerous unprotected position in the family and more vulnerable to attack.
Adam and Eve were the heads of this family tree, literally. The entire family line was joined together like a single organism in the form a tree. Adam and Eve were the head trunk-limbs. The head trunk-limbs were in the form of two snakes branching up straight and high through time together from the main trunk of the snake tree. Their heads were at the summit of the tree, their faces like two pieces of white fruit among the uppermost leaves. Like fruit, the heads of Adam and Eve were always in danger of being eaten by the ancient animals of the primeval forest-garden.
One ancient animal flew up like a bird to the snake tree. The ancient creature had a long sword-like bird-like beak, but like a spider's jaws might, the ancient bird thrust into one of the fruits of the snake tree (which was really an individual human) below the heads of Adam and Eve. Like a spider, it injected venom into the human which was a fruit, liquifying the innards of his body. Then, like a spider might, the bird sucked out the juices of fruit-human, eating him this way.
It was not easy to be a human in those days, when humans were like fruits on a snake tree.
Down Through Time, Folding Over Continents
I've forgotten much of this dream, but it pertained to ancient family matters through time as well. It also had a stellar aspect to it, including the idea of finding lost family members down through time. It had an element of cataclysmic nature in it too.
We were from the stars, but in folding over the north american continent, many were drowned under the sea, lost in time. I remember vowing to find you, stepping out from the sea onto the new shore to do it. I had not been drowned by the sea, and like a mermaid, had survived the cataclysm of folding over continents.
The Snake & the Fish, Two Totem Meanings of the Hebrew Letter Nun
The Hebrew letter nun in modern times carries the Aramaic meaning of fish in the sea. The Hebrew letter nun is derived from the ancient pictograph meaning snake.
In my dream, Adam and Eve were formed like two sofiyot, like two straight extended final letters nun extending through time.
Prophetic Kabbalistic Witchcraft, As Above So Below
Every night before I go to bed, I do a quick dream divination using my Well Worn Path witchcraft deck. Last night, using these cards (which I keep by my altar in a handmade Dark Forest Divination pouch), I drew the card 'As Above So Below.'
'As Above So Below' is also a kabbalistic teaching of the Hebrew letter nun.
Complete alignment and harmony exist throughout my Celtic-Jewish shamanic practice of kabbalistic witchcraft.
The Tree Behind the Hedge, Hedge Riding to the Tree of TransformationThe first two items listed yesterday evening at WITCHCRAFTS by Liorah Lleucu, are related to this week's Torah portion Vayikra, and discussed on Garden of the Dark Moon Jubilee - Two Turtledoves In Action.
Hedgecraft is a form of witchcraft which redefines witchcraft as centered around the journey to the Underworld and contact with the Unseen to transform the essence humanity into something greater. Hedge-riding is the act of doing it.

Elder Staff
כ"ט כסלו תשס"ט
Shamash 30
The twenty-nineth shaman stone in my Temple Collection represents the spirit of Elder Staff, the card I drew last evening in a Hidden Path divination. On Elder Staff it is written [1]:
In ancient times, among some tribes it was believed that trees were the dwelling place of a god or goddess. This is one reason why sacred groves were established. A branch was taken from the tree and carried by the priestess or priest as a sign of her or his connection to the diety of the grove.
This is particularly interesting to me given that this divination occurred in the evening of the morning that I had my waking vision encounter with a tree and it's faerie door. Thus, for me, Elder Staff represents both my own inner Druid Priestess and my link to other Elder Druids throughout all time.
On Elder Staff it is also written [1]:
The Elder Staff informs us that the path we walk takes us through worlds not known by the average person in life. The message of this card is to live and walk the chosen path with lasting devotion and represents the inner mystery that light is at home in the darkness, and that enlightenment is found by passing through the night.
The appearance of Elder Staff officially marks my rite of passage from the dark night of the soul into a period of enlightenment.
As the shaman stone for Elder Staff I have designated an exquisite specimen of agatized coral. The fossilized skeletal remains of a sea creature, coral contains the "life essence of the Mother Goddess who dwelled in the ocean in a tree of coral." [2] Coral's powers include healing, peace, wisdom, regulating menstration, agriculture, and protection (against the evil eye, demons, furies, succubi, incubi, phantasma and all manner of ills, accidents, violence, theft, poison, possession, shipwreck and sterility).

Wisdom, Understanding And Knowledge
ז' כסלו תשס"ט
Shamash 8
This evening's divinatory reading was simply complex, performed with the waxing crescent moon 32% full, during the planetary day of Mercury, and during the planetary hour of Mercury.
First, I ritually drew a card from my Hidden Path deck. The card was mortar and pestle. It's signficance in a reading pertains to refined integration, incorporation and merging.
Second, I ritually drew three Hebrew letter cards. They were tav-yud-hei (תיה). A permutation of these letters is tav-hei-yud (תהי), meaning "let there be" (as in "let there be light"). In light of this understanding, I interpret my permutation to mean "there is" (as in "so mote it be", "and there was light" and "amen").
Third, I ritually drew an ogham stave from my newest set (this reading is my first use of them). I drew the fid coll. Coll corresponds to Mercury, wisdom and knowledge, and is the fid of attaining second-sight, wisdom, prophecy, true judgment, discernment and understanding.
Each system's elements supported the others' elements in this reading, integrating them into one perfectly coherent message, to actively bring forth wisdom, understanding and knowledge.

Cauldron Of Gold Sparks
כ"ו חשון תשס"ת
Phasma Priscus 28
This morning's waking vision was simply one of a light-filled cauldron turning to pour down on me a myriad myriads of brilliantly radiating gold sparks, dancing with the heartbeat of eternal life. The brilliance of the golden sparks of light was mesmerizingly beautiful. They fell gently all around where I lay and bathed me in their brilliance.
The cauldron of golden sparks of light reminded me of the elusive pot of gold that rests at the end of a rainbow. In kabbalah, gold represents the highest level of teshuvah (return to Divine consciousness).

Star Sapphire With All
כ"ד חשון תשס"ת
Phasma Priscus 26
As I woke up this shabbat morning, I had a waking vision. It consisted of a sapphire tree of sparkling dark blue gemstone with a radiant white 5-pointed star of gemstone on top of it. The radiant light surrounding the pentagram like halos within halos within halos formed a radiant pentacle. It reminded me of both a pagan yule tree and of an exquisite dark blue star sapphire gemstone.
Googling 'star sapphire torah' for some clue as to what my waking vision might symbolize, I discovered (Hidden Torah Codes) that "many of the Jewish sages believe that the Torah was given on two star sapphire stones" and that blue sapphire crystals form the hexagonal star of David.
Consequently, my witchy vision this morning symbolizes the two stones (the blue sapphire and the white pentacle, together constructing a 'star sapphire') from which the Torah is ever given. The hexagon crystal of the blue sapphire and the pentagram of the pentacle, in my vision, unify the vav and the hei of the Tetragrammaton. The halos within halos within halos represent the Presence of yud-hei and its im hakolel within my vision. Taking it all (כל) together, my vision envisions unification of the Divine Name.

Machazeh
י"א חשון תשס"ת
Phasma Priscus 13
DovBear notes that the "word used for vision in Genesis 15:1 (machazeh) is unusual, and Aramaic. It appears only in the books of the prophets to introduce their visions."
After these things the word of the Divine came unto Abram in a vision, saying ...
This kind of vision (like the mitzvot) is "not in the heavens, that one should say, who can go up and get it for me that I may observe it" (Devarim 30:12).
Consequently, machazeh pertains to unified "spiritual" and "mundane" prophetic vision. It is not the lofty vision of Moses removed from common experience, nor the limited vision of constricted mundane consciousness - it is a synthesis of both kinds of awareness into something totally "awesome".
Like the state of yirah, machazeh has degrees of prophetic tolerance and refinement.

Bridge To The Land Of Eternal Life
י"א חשון תשס"ת
Phasma Priscus 13
A Hidden Path divination performed during the planetary hour of Saturn with the waxing gibbous moon 78% (הגמל) full brought out the card The Otherworld. This card's appearance in a reading signals a transition of consciousness, a crossing over from the state called the Land of Death into the state called the Land of Eternal Life.

Otherworld Mystery Of The Generations
witch alder in autumn
ג' חשון תשס"ת
Phasma Priscus 5
Be careful that you choose for yourselves proper individuals, and they should be members of the society who have been screened. When you come and stand before the door of the Sixth Chamber, show three seals to the guardians of the door. Show two seals to Katzpiel ... [from the text of Heikhalot Rabbati ]
Missing
Three dreams I dreamt of events concerning my purse, which in dreamspeak oftentimes symbolizes one's "identity" and material blessings. I just woke up from the third dream.
Two nights ago I dreamt - among the complexity of moving everbody's office locations around, my purse became missing. I feared it might have been stolen, because I couldn't find it. I and everyone else with me looked for it. Was there a thief among us? The question remained unanswered in the dream.
Last night I had two dreams, waking for a short time between them.
Kaphtziel, Maat's Feather, Found
First of the two, I dreamt I was going to visit another world. I packed my luggage for the trip as did a friend of mine. We went together with a group. Before we went to the station of departure to the Otherworld, we were lodged overnight in hotels. I never saw the hotel(s) where others in the group stayed. I stayed apart from the group in a separate hotel. The hotel I stayed in was exquisite and elegant. The pool area was an elegant garden, like one might find a palace garden to be. The water in the pool was sparkling clear. After resting, I rejoined the group and we continued on our way.
The trip could be fatally dangerous for one not of proper energetic alignment. It was an entirely safe trip if one's energetic structure was made of a nature aligned with that of the World to which we were going. Those of us making the trip were a small select group of people chosen because of our likelihood to survive the trip safely. We had been prepared to make it.
We went up into the skies to get to the Otherworld. We were instructed by the Navigator on how to make the jump. The jump and drop down was a most dangerous time. We were above a boundary over the Otherworld. We had to each drop as individuals through the boundary. It could shatter and tear an unprepared soul apart. Looking down from the station in the sky from which we would "drop" into the Otherworld, I saw a blanket of dense clouds. Suddenly, a path through the clouds for each of us parted and we each jumped out the door of Samhain Sabbat Shabbat.
I dropped, picking up speed and falling very fast in the greater mid portion of my descent after an initial slow fall. As I came nearer to the ground of the Otherworld, my descent steadily slowed, until I landed very gently like a feather upon the receiving station in the Otherworld.
The group gathered there and we were each met by an Otherworldy being who would escort us from the receiving station into the New World. We each gathered our luggage which had also arrived and prepared ourselves to continue on into the New World. I looked around for my purse - I hoped I hadn't lost it. Before continuing on, I searched my luggage for the presence of my purse. Opening one of my large suitcases, there was my purse safely tucked away among my clothes in my suitcase. "Thank God! Thank Goddess!" I said very quietly upon finding my purse, embracing the witch in me. I found it! One among the group of travelers and Otherworldly beings said quietly "sorry Father" after hearing me add "thank Goddess", as if apologizing for me, as if my saying "thank Goddess" had offended the Divine. He meant well, but the apology was unnecessary. The Divine has no problem at all with "thank Goddess." We came together as a group, and turned as one to step into the New World. I woke up.
The second of the two dreams last night had many connected scenes, the last two I remember.
Katzpiel, Attempted Theft
First remembered scene - my magic rug (carpet) was accepted into the game. The players on the playing field took it from me as I held it out to them through the fence behind which the spectators watched the game. They ran with it around the field holding it up like a banner. They ran the entire space of the field with it, as if my magic carpet-banner was casting a spell for our team's victory. After completing the covering run, the players brought my magic carpet-banner back to me, handing it over to me through the fence as it had been given.
Second remembered scene - as a nurse (I don't work as a staff nurse any longer at this point in my real life), I was being sent over from my home unit to help out on another unit. A male doctor observed me walk over to the other unit with my purse. When I arrived at the other unit, a female doctor was sitting at the nurse's station while the regular nurses of the unit were preparing to work their shift. I asked where I could lock up my purse while I helped them out. The nurses pointed to the rows of lockers along the concrete wall. One of the nurses said to me, "you can put your purse in one of the lockers." There were many open and available lockers, but none of them had a lock. The nurses and the female doctor wanted me to put my purse into an unlockable locker and go out onto the floor and work. I wasn't going to do it. "I need somewhere where I can lock up my purse while I work,", I said. I was told there were no locks here for me to use with which to secure my purse. They were "pushy", trying to make me leave my purse unsecured. They rolled their eyes and became agitated with me, trying to make me think I was being paranoid as opposed to being responsible for wanting to secure my purse in unfamiliar and unsecured public surroundings. When I refused to put my purse in an unsecured location, they became subtly but clearly hateful toward me. They were angry that I would not leave my purse where it could be stolen. I knew then that someone there wanted to steal my purse and as a group, were trying to make me feel to be the unreasonable one for expecting to be able to lock up my purse. They also tried to make me feel to be a failure as nurse because of my reluctance to go to work (and help them and the patients out) without first securing my purse while in the public place. I told them I was going back to my home unit to get the lock off my own personal locker because I wasn't going to work there with my purse unsecured as I worked. I turned and walked away with my purse in hand.
I woke up.
Last evening before going to bed on Samhain night, I performed a divination using the Hidden Path. The Triformis card was drawn. Symbolism of this card includes:
The number 3 - corresponding to the three purse dreams, containing for me the trifold message of lost, found and attempted theft of my purse (symbolizing identity of soul and material blessings).
One key in the card hangs from the Goddess's left arm, symbolizing the Core Principle from which all mysteries originate, and the role of the Divine Feminine as gatekeeper to and revealer of the mysteries. The key of the card confirms that the attempted theft of my "identity" was foiled. I have the key and my purse is secure.
The lunar crown of the Goddess, worn upon her forehead in the card, symbolizes the Unified Nature of the Triangle of Manifestation. As such, the crown of the Goddess corresponds to the Worlds of Emanated Manifestation (Atzilut, Beriyah and Yetzirah - including the origin of the Keter/Da'at-Malchut of Assiyah in Ateret Hayesod) and the World of Unified Nature (Kadmon) united in completeness (Unity throughout Multiplicity). Kadmon contains "three general levels of Divine Essence in life." Within the physical vessel of the witch herself rests the Malchut of Malchut, and through her the Malchuyot of all Worlds are United.
I wore one of my crowns and went as the witch that I am to work yesterday for Samhain. It was great fun!
The three purse dreams are the three seals. The two dreams occurring on Samhain, where the second dream of Samhain during the Torah portion of Noah, consists of two remembered scenes (two by two) are the two seals.

Consummate Life To Enliven
י"ג תשרי התשס"ט
Blodlessing 14
Documenting the synchronicity of today's news event with my divination last evening during motzi shabbat:
Shattered Ship Drama
October 12, 2008, Foxnews
The crew of a cargo ship were lifted to safety before their vessel was smashed in half in the Strait of Gibraltar, The U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper reported Sunday.
The Liberian-registered Fedra was caught in a strong storm Saturday as it passed through the strait, and was pinned against a cliff by devastating waves despite dropping anchor, The Mail reported.
At first, Spanish maritime rescue helicopter was able to airlift several crew members off the doomed ship. But as winds got stronger, rescuers were forced to suspend the mission after a rescue helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing. The storm later subsided just enough to finish the job before the ship was shattered against the cliff, the paper reported.
My divination, described in Sanctuary Of Delight, brought forth 3 Hebrew letters:
עצ ק
which I translated as "focused through the eye of a needle".
The two letters עצ can also be translated as "narrowing, closing"[1], as is the Strait of Gilbraltar narrow, and are the Gates of Prayer associated with the Neilah service (the fifth and unique service) of Yom Kippur closing.
The letter ק which I translated as the eye of the needle (associated with the Temple Gates and the "expropriation of transcendent Divine lifeforce by the material realm" as described in kabbalah) can also be translated as to refer to redemption through the mystical meaning of the letter itself.
So, even while the Gates of Prayer have become closed into a narrow place through which passage is difficult, the Gates to the Temple Sanctuary of perfect delight, are open to provide sanctuary and redemption from the devastating waves and stormy winds of life,

so the physical vessel housing the life which enlivens is not shattered into halves at the narrow place, but remains ever whole and joined together like the Ogham letter of my divination, luis (rowan), a letter of two lines united by one - which is translated through my divination as "a sanctuary of delight with the strength to turn away negativity." None of the ship's crew members perished. All were treated and released from the hospital following rescue.
A card from The Hidden Path not shared in my divination entry last evening was drawn following the Ogham letter. That card was The Great Rite, symbolizing "perfect union, formed to create something greater than the parts can be on their own, a consummation beyond personal matters and limitations."[2] Last evening was the first time I have used this deck. Last evening's divination was its initiation into my practice.

Sanctuary Of Delight
י"ג תשרי התשס"ט
Blodlessing 14
Tonight's divination performed under the waxing gibbous moon 90% full during the planetary hour of the moon, brought forth 3 Hebrew letters:
עצ ק - focused through the eye of the needle
and a single Ogham letter:
luis (rowan) - a sanctuary of delight with the strength to turn away negativity
Oh, what secrets lurk in the ways of a witch, I shall never tell.

Well-Being For The Witch
כ"א אלול התשס"ח
Belz 23
Mabon Blessings!
The future rides the wind with the witch on Mabon. A divination, performed with the waning gibbous moon 54% full, during the planetary hour of Pluto, drew up the fid nGétal, a healing energy, banishing negativity and obstacles to well-being. So mote it be, אמן.
nGétal is the Ogham of Samhain.
Paul Rhys Mountfort (Ogam: The Celtic Oracles Of Trees) writes of nGétal:
nGétal (broom) is a tree letter of well-being and healing. It counsels you to tend to the health of your mind, body and spirit, and reminds you of the need to foster your vitality through rites of cleansing and renewal.
Erynn Rowan Laurie (Ogam: Weaving Word Wisdom) writes of nGétal:
When nGétal appears in a divination, it suggests that health is or should be a priority now. Magically, this fid is excellent for all types of healing work, and is useful for healers to call upon (when doing healing work).
Interestingly, after years of no health care, I recently made a medical appointment with a female physician for an overall health exam. Given I am now into menopause, I decided it was time to get my thyroid function checked out, my allergies and blood pressure under control, and start exercising again. The appointment is scheduled for shortly before Samhain, and the fid of health and healing, called out by the Universe on my behalf, is already working for my well-being specifically, and for all witches universally.
