No Evidence Of Daas Torah

ג' בטבת תש"ע
Grael 5

A scathing spot-on observation by Yerachmiel Lopin concerning the leaders tainted by association with the Leib Tropper scandal on Emes Ve-Emunah:

You are focusing too much on Tropper because he was caught with his pants down. More important is that he was able to manipulate, bribe, flatter, and intimidate rabbonim who are dayanim and poskim.

R. Moshe was fearless and uncorruptible. But we seem to have a generation of pygmies.

Stop asking even if they knew or did not know about this or that detail. It makes no difference. An inspector general can also be fired even if he was diligent and honest if he cant discern what half the world knew.

We need proof to figure out who was clueless, who was corrupt, and who was intimidated. We don't need proof to know that a whole group of leaders showed that they are not up to the job of being leaders. There was no evidence of daas, let alone daas torah.

That certainly strikes at the heart of the matter.

Law Of The Behimah

י"א ניסן תשס"ט
Raven 11

This morning I had a waking speaking vision [Formless Fire]. Coming awake, I [Dreamer] saw a glowing coal [Stone] emerging [Star Father] from the midst [Weaver] of darkness [Well]. Simultaneously, the word "thirty-eight" uttered [Utterer] through my mind.

The glowing coal is of the kelipat nogah, the inner neutral sacred ground shared by the animal soul [Dream Walker] and the Divine soul [Star Walker], made possible and actualized into reality only through the Torah of the behimah. The behimah [Surface Walker] makes it happen.

The number thirty-eight refers to the sha'ar (gate) חל, meaning to occur, to take place, to happen, and to apply the law. It also pertains specifically to the Divine Feminine. The Hebrew letter chet (ח) pertains to Binah and Hod (both numbering 8th of ten sefirot, depending on perspective of observation). The Hebrew letter lamed (ל) pertains to the Yesod [Guardian] of Malchut [Ancestor, past present and future] through the 30-day monthly feminine cycle of the Moon. Thus, חל corresponds to a woman who has integrated these emanant aspects of Being into her made awareness. In other words, חל refers to a woman who can make it happen, who has actualized into reality to bring into Being the neutral sacred ground [Surface Walker] within which the animal soul and the Divine soul are in perfect peace and complete harmony, united and seamlessly integrated into a simple whole.

Sidhe Moon Of Black Fire Atop White Fire

כ"ט אב התשס"ח
Belz 1
Sidhe Moon of Shabbat Belz Machar Chodesh

Black Fire Atop White Fire
one of my Walking On Fire avatars at LiveJournal

I came home yesterday from work to find that I had finally received the new book in the mail that I had ordered a few weeks ago - The Sidhe, Wisdom From The Celtic Otherworld. I had been waiting for the book on aes sídhe (pronounced 'ess shee') to arrive for an unusually extended period of time and had been considering contacting the bookseller soon to inquire as to the possibility that my book order or the shipment had been lost. That would not be necessary now, for The Sidhe arrived just in time for shabbat of the Sidhe Moon.

A Sidhe Moon, also called the Other Moon, is the uncommon phenomenon of two Black Moons occurring in one solar month. The second Black Moon in such a month is called the Sidhe or Fairy Moon. This rare lunar event occurs today, in the year of 2008/5768, on shabbat (weekly Jewish sabbath) of the Torah portion Re'eh (meaning 'see'), on the first day of the Witch's month of Belz (Days of Fire), and on the penultimate day of the Hebrew month of Av (Days of the Young Shoot/bud).

Torah Of The Sidhe - Black Fire Atop White Fire

The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet is aleph (א). The penultimate letter of the Hebrew alphabet is shin (ש). Together, the letters aleph-shin spell the Hebrew word esh (אש) meaning 'fire'. The period of time corresponding to the Witch's month of Belz is, as written above, called 'Days of Fire'.

White Fire corresponds to the two Hebrew letters of the word esh, meaning 'fire', symbolizing the mutable Light of Awareness. Black Fire corresponds to the dark Sidhe Moon of the month of Belz, the Days of Fire, and to the immutable note of a Dark Essence Ancient of Days brought forth through the Old Forest Craft of this shamanic Jewitch. Interestingly, the Sidhe teach of the unique note each creature and species contribute to the exquisite song of All Being within the pages of the book I received yesterday afternoon.

The Sidhe Moon is an element from the Teaching of Green Witchcraft. Interwoven with this teaching of Green Witchcraft is a teaching of Torah.

Torah is also a Teaching Tradition (like Green Witchcraft) which describes the Blueprint of Creation and is itself described in the Midrash (Jewish mythology) as “black fire atop white fire” (Sifrei, on Deuteronomy 33:3).

Integrating all these ideas simply and wholly, we can see that not only is there Wisdom among the Sidhe, we can see that there is Torah among the Sidhe as well. Equally important, just as tzaddikim may have Da'at Torah (integral knowledge of mystical-magical Law-Teaching), so too may witches have Da'at Torah.

And so begins my relationship this shabbat with the Sidhe, with black fire atop white fire.

Protective Power Of Unity In Plurality

כ"ב אב התשס"ח
Lughnasadh 23

The SILVERED FINGER, a three-fold cord of the Divine Feminine not easily broken ...

Noting mystical synchronicities of two previous entries (The Three-Fold Cord At Dawn and The Inverted Seal) with today's news event:

Plane Crashes Near Utah's Arches National Park, Killing Ten
Foxnews, Saturday August 23, 2008

MOAB, Utah — A twin-engine plane crashed and burned near an airport not far from Arches National Park in southeastern Utah, killing all 10 people on board, an official said Saturday.

The plane was fully engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived late Friday at the site about 2 miles from the Canyonlands Field airport, and there were no survivors, Grand County Sheriff James Nyland said.

The airplane was a King Air A-100, said Mike Fergus, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration in Seattle. He said that "to the best of our knowledge" no flight plan had been filed for the trip, but he said that isn't unusual.

Nyland said the victims were the director of Red Canyon Aesthetics & Medical Spa, a dermatology clinic headquartered in Cedar City, his clinic staff and the pilot.

He identified them as pilot David White; Dr. Lansing Ellsworth; David Goddard; Mandy Johnson; Marcie Tillery, 29; Valerie Imlay, 52; Keith Shumway, 29; Dallon Ellsworth, 24; Camie Vigil, 25; and Cecilee Goddard, 25.

Lansing Ellsworth had recently started a monthly skin clinic in Moab, Nyland said.

Read full article at link above.

Significant corresponding mystical concepts linking the entries with the news item:

king - sight - unity - prophecy

keter (crown) / 10 in Unity / power of sight / guardian cherubs of the ark/arch (Miriam / Mimir)

white - moab - skin - wisdom

wisdom (chochmah) / 10 in Unity / Moab

tzara'at/skin condition consisting of white patches ringed with red

transformation of sightlessness to insight

ring - judgment (red) / favor (silver finger directing sight)

tzara'at is a skin condition consisting of white patches ringed with red (judgment)

arches - sight - unity in plurality

chatoteret / sight / Unity in Plurality / run and return of the lifeforce

Taken together, the successful mystical experience/prayer/spell is not only able to run to Unity, it is able to return to bring forth and make manifest that Unity from within the world of Plurality, bringing prophecy and wisdom peacefully together into a single stream of enlightenment.

With Six Letters, Three Cauldrons Of One Torah

י"ז תמוז התשס"ח
Faunus 19

Scribal oddity of two 'n's as found in Torah scroll (shown aove).

The Celtic Ogham alphabet of the Druids is called Beth-Luis-Nuin. Through designating the Ogham alphabet beth-luis-nuin, in some manner then, the three letters (beth, luis, nuin) call out the soul of the Ogham into active creative manifestation. In other words, the letters symbolize the three creative rays of Awen, and the creative energy of the Divine Feminine known in kabbalah as hashra'ah.

From the perspective of a Jewitch, beth-luis-nuin have correspondences to the Hebrew letters Beit-Lamed-Nun. In Torah, beit-lamed-nun symbolize the soul of Torah.

Beit-Beth, with a 'b' sound, is the first letter (בְּ) of the first word 'bereshit' (בְּרֵאשִׁית) in the first book of Torah, Genesis (called in Jewish tradition 'Bereshit'). The six letters of the word 'bereshit' can mean 'with six'.

Lamed-Luis, with an 'l' sound, is the last letter (ל) in the last word 'Yisrael' (יִשְׂרָאֵל) in the last book of Torah, Devarim (Deutereonomy). The word "Yisrael' is a mystical codeword for the collective soul of humanity to whom Torah belongs. 'Torah' is a mystical codeword for the 'keys to creative messianic consciousness'.

In the Hebrew language, the letters lamed-beit spell the word לב, pronounced 'lev' (a hard beit is pronounced 'v', a soft beit is pronounced 'b'), a word meaning 'heart'. The 'heart' of Torah, comprising the soul of Torah, symbolizing the entire Torah, from the last letter to the first letter, the alpha and the omega, speaks forth the realization of humankind's messianic potential and inherent Divinity.

Nun-Nuin. The messianic and Divine consciousness of humankind is symbolized by the 'n' sound, represented actively by the Hebrew letter nun and the Ogham letter nuin.

Two letters with the 'n' sound comprise a significant and unique scribal oddity found in Torah. The two odd 'n's are called nun hafucha (inverted nun, like an introspective 'n' among the Hebrew alphabet) and nun m'zuneret (isolated nun, like the 'n' among the Ogham alphabet set apart from the Hebrew alphabet). Between the two n's are set apart two verses (Numbers 10:35-36) within the midst of the entire Torah. The two verses are said to comprise a link to an entirely new inner arrangement within Torah, one which will be revealed during the golden age of messianic consiousness among humankind.

Taken together, with six letters from both the Hebrew and Ogham alphabets, are three cauldrons of Torah creation letters called forth. Brewing within the three cauldrons of Torah creation letters is the birthright of humankind - Divine messianic consciousness.

Six Letters, Three Cauldrons, Two Alphabets, One Torah

The heart of Torah is the heart of the Ogham. Hebrew and Ogham (shefifon) are elucidations of the same root soul (serayah) of the Divine soul of humanity.

With six letters (beth, beit, luis, lamed, nuin, nun), through three cauldrons (of emanation, creation and formation) is the entire atzilutic-messianic Torah called forth and made manifest.

Knesset Echad, Key Circle Of The Black Knot

י'ז באדר א' תשס"ח
Keolwulf 18

I dreamt.

Of the details, the following survived into waking consciousness.

I was in a protected house surrounded by a "circuiting" path, like a running track.

A magnificent lion-like creature ascended to the "track" around the place. The creature of singularly awesome power was potentially lethally dangerous. It's potential danger lay in the idea that the energy it embodied was discerned to be finely balanced upon the dimensionless tip of a scale of iterating measures. If the energy stayed on the track and contained within it's set boundaries, it was very good - for no enemy could cross the track of the lion. Should anyone enter the track of the lion from outside the house, the lion would encounter them in it and rip them to shreds.

As the lion ran it's circuits, I needed to stay in the protected house as well. The danger of going outside for me lay not in being ripped to shreads by the lion, but in "throwing" the lion off it's finely balanced track - almost as if my presence in the house kept everything safely held together in order and balance.

The lion ran circles around the protected house, looking for any unprotected opening into the house which would allow it to enter into and break the integrity of the protective barrier which completely surrounded us. In this manner, the lion tested the protective barrier which formed the inner circle and kept out harmful chaos. It found no opening. The circle stood intact.

I woke up.

The lion represents pure Gevurah. The projective protective barrier which "resists collapse" of the surrounding circle represents pure Chesed. Embodying the principles of integrated order and balance, I represent manifest integration of Tiferet and Malchut. Embodied within the "protected house", I also embody Torah, and more specifically in this dream, I embody the Torah found within the bayit of the tefillin shel rosh (Iyyun):

From the bayit — and the Torah contained within — flow the straps, first surrounding our heads, then tied in a knot the shape of a dalet for the word da'as, and from the reality of da'as (albeit sometimes only in a state poverty, dalus in Hebrew) flow the two straps: one to the right and one to the left, representing the general flow of the emotional attributes of chesed (kindness) to the right side, and gevurah (restraint) on the left.

In truth, chesed and gevurah emanate from the same "space," the transcendental knot interweaving both these elements, rooted in the deepest place of kesser, the "black," the level beyond comprehension which is called the space for "the light of darkness."

In da'as is the key to our emotions, so that they open and flow in the general direction of either right or left, giving or restraining, openness or confinement.

With respect to circle of sacred space I've cast as the Jewitch Liorah Lleucu HaMasovevet, I hereby call the covered Coven of One, Knesset Echad, Key Circle of the Black Knot.

Interestingly, the dimensionless tip upon which the energy of the archetypal lion balanced corresponds to the Hebrew letters yod and hei mappik (הּ) and to the dark crocheted handflower (designed and handmade by DragonInKnots) which I wore on my left hand yesterday at work for "crazy sock Friday". Instead of crazy socks on my feet, I "thought outside the box" and wore a crazy knotted sock on my left hand, in an "intended manner" of a Jewitch's tefillin, achdut ha'shaveh.

A note on the concept of achdut ha'shaveh from Medieval Jewish Mystical Sources:

In this term we can see the influence of R. Azriel of Gerona, for the concept of hashva'ah, equinimity, is central to his writings. Tishby has noted that R. Azriel "usually employs this concept in connection with the conjunction of opposites within the Supernal Root, shoresh ha'elyon." ... Although it is generally assumed that shaveh implies equivalence or balance, H. Yalon demonstrated that shaveh is synonymous with chibbur, conjoined.

Interestingly, the concept of chibbur is associated with the symbolism of the lion and the barrier. In my dream, both the protective barrier and the lion are very good.

Bitachon, Shlomah's Catacomb & The Magic Megilah

Photo from Witches Moon.

ג' באדר א' תשס"ח
Keolwulf 4

In follow-up to earlier entries, 9 Magic Keys To Redemption (which arrived in the mail yesterday) and Manifest Spark Of Redemptive Magic, I dreamt this morning.

Time felt both anciently existent and nonexistent, between being and not being, a twilight zone between time and timelessness.

I lived within a community located deep within the earth, in the hidden (amon) underworld inner world. We came to know through sensory telepathy that the deep subterranean oceans were being broken up throughout the underworld, and soon the deeps immediately surrounding our completely enclosed dwelling pocket within the land would be affected too. Unless some miracle occurred for us, we would be covered over with many waters, obliterated, and our hidden place submerged within the deep underworld seas. In my mind, I was aware that this catastrophic event had happened many times before in antiquity clear back to in the beginning of all. It was a cosmic event that repeated itself throughout aeons of time.

But, there was nowhere to escape. The deep underworld sea was all around us outside the protecting walls of our catacombed dwelling pocket. We lived completely surrounded by the deeps, and had lived our entire existence in this place. We lived in a bubble among the deeps, protected by the earthenstone walls which gave form to our inner place. But those walls were about to be broken up, and our world submerged.

There was no place to escape. We waited for destiny to make itself known. It was the only thing we could do.

The earthenstone walls of our protected place, like the rest of the walls within the underworld, began to break up. We could hear the rush of many waters bounding toward our little world. The walls broke and the waters came. But then, an amazing thing happened.

Though the protecting earthenstone walls had been broken up and there was nothing to stop the waters, the waters stood up anyway as if invisible walls were still there holding them back! The waters stood up and themselves formed a protecting wall (chomah) around us, forming a stockade (migdal) against the onward natural rush of the waters.

The former earthenstone walls now formed small stony paths of escape leading through the deep underworld seas to the surface world. The stony paths were surrounded by protecting walls of underworld deep waters standing straight up.

We stepped upon the paths leading to the safety of the surface, and emerged, awaking to another day.

When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not transgress His commandment, when He appointed the foundations of the earth;

Then I was by Him, as a nursling; and I was daily all delight, playing always before Him,

Playing in His habitable earth, and my delights are with the sons of men.

Mishlei 8:29

With connection to my 9 magic keys, from Insights To The Daf, Megilah 10:
[4] (a) So we base Rebbi Yitzchak's initial statement on a Machlokes between Rebbi Yishmael b'Rebbi Yosi and the Chachamim. Rebbi Yishmael b'Rebbi Yosi explains in a Beraisa, that the Mishnah in Erchin lists (in connection with the Din of Batei Arei Chomah) specifically nine towns out of the numerous towns that had a wall around them in the days of Yehoshua bin Nun - because those are the ones that they found and consecrated (whilst all the others lost their Kedushah with the destruction of the first Beis-Hamikdash).

(b) In another Beraisa, Rebbi Yishmael b'Rebbi Yosi says - that they only mentioned these nine because they were the ones that they found when they returned from Bavel, but that in fact, all the towns that were traditionally walled in the time of Yehoshua bin Nun were sanctified (and these included the sixty towns of the territory of Argov that had previously belonged to Og Melech Habashan).

(c) The second Tana's Lashon 'Matz'u Eilu v'Kidshum' is wrong - because he specifically goes on to say that they do not require consecration.

(d) So we amend it to read 'Matz'u Eilu u'Man'um' (they found these and listed them').

[5] (a) Initially, we reconcile these two Beraisos - by turning it into a Machlokes Tana'im regarding the opinion of Rebbi Yishmael b'Rebbi Yosi.

(b) Alternatively, we amend the name of the author of the second Beraisa to Rebbi Elazar b'Rebbi Yosi, who (in another Beraisa), Darshened the Pasuk in Behar (in connection with Batei Arei Chomah) "Asher Lo Chomah" (which is written with a 'Vav' but read with an 'Alef') to mean - that a city that had a wall around it in the time of Yehoshua bin Nun is considered a walled city, even though it no longer has one nowadays.

Interestingly, in addition to receiving my 9 magic keys yesterday, I also received one of my other recent Craftwork orders - a handmade magic megilah scroll created for writing spellwork. So, in addition to the connection with my 9 magic keys, a connection here to my one Magic Megilah also exists.

The original Torah and the Tablets of the Ten Commandments was concealed in a catacomb that had been prepared by King Solomon when he had first built the Temple. It is still here today.

Al Shem Sofo

ז' בשבט תשס"ח
Imbolgen 7

The Kotzker Rebbe teaches regarding judgment al shem sofo of the ben sorer u'moreh (a rebellious child who is teaching):

The expression al shem sofo, translated literally, means "according to his end." While we interpret this as reference to what he will do later on in life, it may have another meaning. Al shem sofo, "according to his end," refers to the end of his title: ben sorer u'moreh. The word moreh, which we have translated as rebellious, can also be understood to mean "and he will teach." A moreh is a teacher. Our fear is that this rebellious child will not just simply isolate his iniquity; he will share it with others, teaching them to be rebellious.

You see, the putative problem is that the rebellious child dares to teach against the flow of deeply entrenched communal conformity. Can we imagine the ire directed toward a child with such moxie?

Against the communal opinion which judges a rebellious child to necessarily be teaching iniquity comes the final judgement that such a "rebellious teacher" will be Divinely dealt with al shem sofo, that is, according to his/her end.

The word "his end" (sofo) derives from the Hebrew shoresh סוף. One meaning associated with this shoresh is the concept of "growth at water's edge" [Shemot 2:3]. Thus, the ordained fate of a rebellious child who dares to teach against the established way of doing things rests with what grows at water's edge.

Hmm. I just had a dream about growing messianic consciousness at water's edge. Read about it here.

End Of The Dead End

י"א בתשרי תשס"ח

Today's Hebrew letter tarot reading, performed during the planetary hour of Venus with the waxing gibbous moon 88% (חף, pure, innocent, blameless, guiltless, inculpable) full:

פצת

The intended injury פצע was sealed by truth, and prevented by the mark of righteousness, the letter ת. Neither my keys nor I were dispersed (פץ) into dark oblivion (see previous entry). The ע opened (where an ע is composed of נו with a gematria of 56), saw the truth, and caused the sand to come (אנה meaning "caused to come", also with a gematria of 56 and the shoresh of my Celtic middle name Ann as described in Bringing Down Divine Knowledge).

And if a man lie not in wait, but God cause it to come to hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he may flee.
Shemot 21:13

The terror has not terrified me, I bear the pressure upon me. Hear! the voice of my words, I am clean, without transgression, neither is there iniquity in me. Open! the ears of men, Seal! the decree, that men may put away their ill-purpose.
Iyov 33:7-17

Bringing Down Divine Knowledge

י"א בתשרי תשס"ח

In follow-up to my recent post (Dew Of Night) about being rescued by a mystical woman made of faerie folk (the Tuatha Dé Danann of the Druids), I first note that my Celtic middle name is Ann. Ann is a form of the name of the Celtic goddess Anu (also known as Danu, Dannan, Danand, Ana), mother goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann. (Interestingly, Anu is also the name of a Semitic Akkadian god.)

Anu (אנו) is an extension of Ani ("I", אני a channel of Adonai) into further existence, from Ein Sof-Atzilut (י) into Yetzirah (ו). Ann (אנן) is formed through an extension of feminine intelligence (Binah of Beriyah) acting on the Hebrew letter vav (ו in Yetzirah) of Anu, changing it into a nun sofit (ן of Beriyah and/into Assiyah). A nun sofit implies an essence of "everlasting eternal faithfulness". Thus, my Celtic middle name Ann incorporates into it a line of acting feminine intelligence (emerging out of Aur Ein Sof) extending with everlasting eternal faithfulness throughout all 4 universes into physical reality.

Secondly and importantly, my name אנן like אני, is from the shoresh אנה meaning to "cause", "direct to a goal", "acknowledgement and "gratitude". Thus, I am a living embodiment of the Modah Ani prayer, the first prayer (of gratitude) we say in the morning immediately upon waking. The nun sofit in my name Ann is one tool through which I awakened from the dream described in Two Goats, Nogeáh V'eino Nogeáh .

Thirdly, through my name Ann, I am also a living embodiment of the Anu archetype, mother-goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann who bring the Stone Of Fal (Lia Fal, prophetic stone of Destiny/Knowledge) to life. Yet, in addition to being Celtic, I am also Jewish. Thus, reflecting these two aspects of my unique identity, the stone I bring has a doubled letter "l" (lamed ל, learning/teaching); the stone I bring is this, my chotimah - Stone of FLL, in Hebrew:

גלעין (stone/kernel/revealing)
פלל (bringing together, mediating, judging, bringing down Divine Knowledge)

Modah ani l'fanecha melech hai v'kayam shehehezarta bi nishmati b'hemlah rabah emunatecha.

Wrestling With Ruach Hashem

ג' בתשרי תשס"ח

In my entry Wrestling, Redeeming & Sanctifying Truth, I wrote of a mist which arose to seed the universe:

Simultaneous with the arising of the wrestling primal goddesses, I saw that the entire atmosphere became chock (חוק) full of dandelions releasing their seeds - so many that they looked like a whitish mist made of dandelion seeds being cast out from the place into the universe at large.

In addition to the dandelion symbolism I discussed in the linked post, the symbolism of the mist is significant.

In my vision, the mist arose from and hovered over the face of the waters where the primal goddesses wrestled toward unification.

"... and ruach Elohim hovered over the face of the waters." Bereshit 1:2

Jewish kabbalah teaches that this hovering ruach Elohim of Bereshit 1:2 is none other than the soul of messianic consciousness.

Mist in Hebrew is אד. A gathering of water (like a cauldron-pond) corresponds to the Hebrew letter mem ם. Together, the mist and the cauldron-pond form the word אדם (adam, in terms of mankind), a code for the 3 archetypal souls of mankind - Adam, David and Mashiach.

As discussed in previous entries, the two primal goddesses in my vision were wrestling in the cauldron-pond to bring forth a unified messianic consciousness. The mist of ruach Elohim hovered over them. The two primal goddesses in the cauldron-pond represent ruach Hashem wrestling toward unification of the Essential Divine Name and its expression into unified messianic consciousness.

Ezer knegdo phrases based on Bereshit 2:6.

"... there arose a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."

"... there arose a mist from the waters, and seeded the whole face of the air" (see avir kadmon and it's relationship to mem/waters).

Ruach Hashem & The Birth Of An Anointing Prophet

Interestingly, the (ה) feminine vision of ruach Hashem (זה נבואה) occurred on second day of Rosh Hashanah of the year 5768 (see link for elucidation). The brit milah of Shmu'el ben Chanah occurred in a dream this morning, the shabbat immediately following Rosh Hashanah. Chanah is one of my Hebrew names and the birth and dedication of the prophet Shmu'el is in the haftarah for the first day of Rosh Hashanah.

Yachid, A Singular Flame

ג' בתשרי תשס"ח

As I posted this morning, in front of me on the desk is sitting my bottle of perfume. I am seeing it as I blog this entry.

Interestingly, the shape of the bottle of the perfume I use (Cashmere by Donna Karan) fits my Rosh Hashanah post (Wrestling, Redeeming & Sanctifying Truth) concerned with focusing and sharpening into unity the flames of mashiach ben Yosef and mashiach ben David.

The parfum bottle is shaped like one clear singular flame.

Yachid (יחיד), the Singular One, is the unified origin of the gevurot and chasidim, the left feminine and the right masculine powers, as they "exist" in the Divine Essence (Atzmut).

Another synchronicity of the daily details of my life with the universe of the Divine.

Unification Of Da'at

כ"ב באלול תשס"ז

I noted in my previous entry, Her Hands In Herstory:

The Divine Feminine "sun" of tevunah penetrates the darkness from December 19-23. The numbers comprise a "passage of time", namely 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. The sum of these (ה) five "expressively feminine" numbers is 105, the gematria of a Hebrew word for "her palm" (כפה) and "her projective beauty" (ייפה importantly with two letters yod, symbolizing the Divine Name).

I further noted:

The ancient Temple of Newgrange still stands today in amazing wholeness as a witness to Her Endurance, year to year.

In additional observation - as the two letters yod יי in the configuration ייפה pertain to the Divine Name, the two remaining letters פה mean "Her mouth". The letter pei (פ) is the 17th letter of the aleph-beit, where 17 is the maximum number of minutes the chamber at Newgrange is lit up and is the gematria of "tov" (good טוב).

17, it is enough. dayeinu!

Tov is the 33rd word of the Torah. Thirty-three alludes to union of the 2 levels of da'at (knowledge).

Interestingly, the current Technorati "authority" of Walking On Fire is 33 (see sidebar).

Torah Of Peace, Deal With It

י"א באלול תשס"ז

Foxnews reports today that Greece is in flames and has been burning for two days.

ATHENS, Greece — Police on Saturday arrested and charged a man with arson and multiple counts of homicide in a deadly fire in southern Greece that left six people dead, the fire department said.

The 65-year-old man was arrested in connection with the fire in the southern Peloponnese town of Areopolis, department spokesman Nikos Diamandis said, where five people were burned to death on Friday and one firefighter died of a heart attack while battling the flames. The blaze is one of dozens that are burning across Greece and have killed a total of at least 46 people in the past two days.

The arrest followed the prime minister's declaration of a nationwide state of emergency.

Interestingly, two days ago, Sultan Knish suggested that Torah is extremist, so deal with it:

The Torah is an extremist work for extremist people. For people who actually care and are willing to fight for their beliefs. It has a lot for moderates to hate. It has a lot for them to distrust. Moderates love compromise and the word of G-d is uncompromising. Some time ago when the moderates turned Hellenist, the extremists slaughtered them. We call that Chanukah.

Deal with it, Sultan Knish. The Hellenistic slaughter is a kelipah of Chanukah. Chanukah celebrates the transformation of darkness into brilliance, אתהפכא חשוכא לנהורא.

Zeh she'Kanah De'ah

ח' בתמוז תשס"ז

Zeh, zeh. In my previous post, I discussed the unique prophecy of Mosheh, as described by the word hazeh and given through the word hamateh, in relationship to both my dream this morning and to the tarot reading this evening.

Significantly, while my discussion pertained specifically to prophecy (nevuah), both my dream and the tarot reading also pertain to the acquisition of Wisdom. Through my dream and tarot reading (both connected to the word hazeh through the 8 of wands/the hand of Binah/Understanding in the reading joined to the hand of Chochmah/Insight in the dream) nevuah and wisdom merged into a single stream of consciousness (mature Da'at, De'ah).

"The Vilna Ga'on (Kol Eliyahu) and the Pnei Yehoshua answer that the Gemara (Nedarim 41a) says regarding wisdom (De'ah) that 'one who does not have De'ah, has nothing; one who does have it, has everything.'"

Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh teaches that "the only individual for whom wisdom and prophecy merged into a single stream of enlightenment was Moses. He was able to receive prophecy while still in full possession of his normative human faculties, thereby providing the quintessential model of rectified knowledge."

Kav B'Emtza

א' בתמוז תשס"ז

I've discovered yet another explicit connection between this week's parashah (Chukat) and my shabbat experience this past Friday night.

זאת חקת התורה

The word chukat (חקת) is the 9th word of the Torah portion Chukat. The number 9 corresponds to the Hebrew letter tet and symbolizes a bed. While at first I tried to sleep in the bed this past shabbat, I ended up sleeping on the floor before/beyond (depending on perspective) a door in room 6.

In my previous entry, I posited a seder of events:

the shabbat preceding the portion Chukat
chukat as a door
the reality of a vav-Torah

This past Friday night (zayin-et), I moved from the bed (chukat as the 9th word) to before/beyond the door (the final digit sum of chukat) in room 6 (where 6 corresponds to the central letter vav of haTorah).

In other words, my explicit reality incorporates the entire phrase זאת חקת התורה and it focused that night into the central letter (kav b'emtza) of a vav-Torah.

Reish. Today, I clarified it.

Hei. And expressed it in writing.

Making Of A Real Life Vav-Torah

א' בתמוז תשס"ז

Here are some revealed explicit connections of this week's Torah portion (Chukat) with the events of my life this past shabbat.

Zot - Designating Time

Though Chukat is this week's Torah portion (which began following this past shabbat), the verse [1] containing the word chukat (חקת) begins with the word zot (זאת). In the verse, the word zot immediately precedes the word chukat (the name of this week's Torah portion).

The word zot can be separated into ז-את, a letter zayin (corresponding to the number seven) leading into the participle et. Grammatically, the Hebrew participle et "comes to add" something.

The seder found in the verse under examination is:

zayin-et-chukat-haTorah

The construct ז-את could be functioning to mark "something" intimately linked into the shabbat (the seventh day) which precedes the Torah portion Chukat (by way of preceding the word chukat in the portion), telling us that this particular shabbat "comes to add" something into the time which follows it. In other words, the shabbat preceding the Chukat portion anchors "something new" into reality, while the "time" of the Chukat portion itself catalyzes unfolding that "something new" delivered into it the previous shabbat into all reality.

The shabbat which comes to add into time through the verse of the Chukat portion was this past shabbat, the night I spent in the hospital Guest House.

Chukat - Designating Place

The word chukat (חקת) begins with the letter chet (corresponding to the number eight). The entire word reduces to a final digit sum of 4 (corresponding to the letter dalet, meaning door). On the particular shabbat as discussed above, my Presence was focused into two particular places - while awake, on the 8th floor of the hospital where my father was in ICU, and while sleeping, laying in front of a door ...

HaTorah - Permeating All Space

... in room 6 (corresponding to the letter vav and to Torah; a vav-Torah).

From This Past Shabbat, Added Into All Time

I sleep in Beauty and walk in Truth.

זאת חקת התורה

The לה pasuk of my name Liorah [Devarim 30:12]:

It is not in the heavens, that I should say, who can go up and get it for me that I may observe it.

ל א בשמים, הוא: לאמר, מי יעלה-לנו השמימה ויקחה לנו, וישמענו א תה, ונעשנה

Al Pi Halachah

כ"א באייר תשס"ז

Yitz comments on Witchcraft And Kabbalah:

How does Judaism and witch-craft square al pi halachah?

Good question. Let's analyze the phrase al pi halachah (על פי הלכה).

First, halachah is lech לך surrounded (where surrounding is a function of hamasovevet) and captured by two feminine letters hei (הה). In other words, it is the command to go! captured in feminine awareness, where the first hei corresponds to Binah (mindful intelligence) and the second hei corresponds to Malchut (active intelligence). This definition of הלכה aligns perfectly with my feminine experience of incarnation, as described in Candle In The Womb:

Do not fear. I will bring you home. Home is forward. Go. I will never leave you alone. Smell what I feel like. Remember. I will bring you home. I promise. Remember. I will always be with you. Remember and do not be afraid. Look at all the wonderful edges I have made ...

Consequently, the evidence of experiential knowledge coupled with word analysis suggests that this witch is a living embodiment of halachah.

Second, indeed the phrase על פי is translated in Shemot 17:1 as "as (Hashem) would command". In other words, one who performs the original mitzvah to "Go! as Hashem would command" via unified complexity of the feminine (Binah and Malchut) is a legitimate definition of the phrase al pi halachah.

As described in the story of my incarnation, Candle In The Womb, I performed this mitzvah as Hashem would command. I came. Over that, I have remembered it, also as Hashem did command.

This remembrance is the next level of meaning to the phrase portion al pi, "over 90". In other words, my remembrance is over and beyond the literal definition, and over and beyond 90 (where 90 is the gematria of פי and על means over and beyond). Over and beyond 90 is 91, the secret of amen (where amen אמן has a gematria of 91) which is a secret contained within my circle name Lleucu (where the phonetic Hebrew transliteration of Welsh/Celtic Lleucu ללאכי, pronounced Lley-kee, has a gematria of 91).

Taking all this together, my name Liorah corresponds to the first level of al pi halachah, where by "going as Hashem did command" into physicality, I moved toward the light of becoming more aware.

My name Lleucu corresponds to the next level of al pi halachah, where I went above and beyond the first command to go!, and also fulfilled the second one which was to remember!

So, to answer Yitz's question, this is how my witchcraft and Judaism square quite well על פי הלכה.

R' Avraham Abulafia teaches that every soul is a witch [1]. As explained above, my soul is an embodiment of al pi halachah. That makes the craft of my soul, my witchcraft, itself al pi halachah.
