ט"ו באייר תשס"ז
Parashat Emor discusses the laws of the kohanim. The birkat kohanim, the priestly blessing - and the hashra'ah associated with that - is kabbalistically symbolized by the letter samech (ס).
Interestingly, the letter samech was the first letter (from keter of kadmon) to emerge from my eighth tarot reading on myself yesterday evening, under the influence of this week's Torah portion, Emor. Subsequent to the emergence of the letter samech, The Priestess (Kohenet) card became revealed (in chochmah of kadmon). The Kohenet tarot card itself implies within its interpretive associations the leap in creative energy characteristic of immersive hashra'ah.
Taken together, the data support that I am an acting Kohenet in my own merit, by my own birthright - not by virtue of marriage to a Kohen or through secondhand titular power. My own merit. My own birthright.
Moreover, the tarot reading was no mere tarot reading. It was a Kohenet's unfolding pearl of wisdom.
