I literally and physically took my spirit cord to the crossroads this motzi shabbat.

Just as there is a 3-shin and a 4-shin in Hebrew, and just as there are 3 and 4 Celtic fire festivals, there is a liminal crossroads of 3 and 4 roads in witchcraft. The crossroads of 4 represents the 4 directions (E-N-S-W), while the crossroads of 3 represents a central locus of consciousness experiencing involutionary (above, surrounding, moving inward, mekabel) and evolutionary (below, projective, moving outward, mashpiya) movements with respect to the central mediating locus of consciousness.

With 7 directions, governed by the Queen of Witches, particularly on this motzi shabbat sixth day of Shevat/Imbolgen, the crossroads is a liminal no-man's land, a chalal hapanui, and a gateway to the extraordinary.

The crossroads ritual was performed with the waxing crescent moon 21% full.

Following the ritual, I gave a gift of blessing to the peaceful elementals, nature spirits and faeries who dwell at the crossroads. The physical vehicle for the blessing gift consisted of dandelion soaked in olive oil from upon my altar, pomegranate seeds, salted bread, myrrh, mugwort and cedarwood.

Girl Child In Box Found By Fisherman

The following story reported in Foxnews today reminds me of Pharaoh's decree to throw all the Hebrew baby boys into the Nile. Only, in this contemporary case, it was a girl-child.

Fisherman Finds Box With Girl's Body Parts

HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities have released a sketch of what they think a young girl, whose remains were discovered inside a storage box that washed ashore on Galveston Bay, looked like.

Investigators also said a forensic dental examination has narrowed the girl's age to between 2 and 3 years*.

The girl, whom police call "Baby Grace," is described as white, 32 to 35 inches tall and weighing 25 to 30 pounds.

She had waist-long, wavy blond or light brown hair. She was wearing a Target-brand pink, flowing skirt, a pink or red shirt and white light-up tennis shoes with purple flowers on them.

A fisherman found the girl late Monday night. Her body was inside a blue plastic utility box that washed ashore along the Intercoastal Waterway.

*In contrast to my vision of "body parts", experienced between the ages of 3 or 4. In the vision mentioned here, I "saw" the upper portions of the bodies and the faces with red eyes.

Blessings Hidden In Mother Night

The midsummer witch's sun sabbat called Litha (Aerra Litha, Mother Night) is observed around the summer solstice. In the northern hemisphere, the Midsummer's Day, Aerra Litha, is observed on June 24, falling 3 or 4 days following the actual astronomical summer solstice itself.

Here's that 3 or 4 phenomenon again - this time we find it hidden within a single (יחיד) witch's sun sabbat Litha, as opposed to the 4 fire festivals (moon sabbats).

Matriarch Of Covenantal Messianic Consciousness

In parashat Pinchas is the phrase (Bamidbar 26:46) "the name of Asher's daughter, Serach ..." (v'shem bat-Asher, Serach). In Hebrew, this phrase reads:

ושם בת-אשר שרח

There are 3, well actually 4, words in this phrase. We have seen this 3 or 4 phenomenon before - with both the Hebrew letter shin and with the Celtic fire festivals.

The gematriot:

ושם = 346
בת = 402
אשר = 501
שרח = 508

1754 = digit sum = 17 טוב = final digit sum 8

Adding the gematriot of each word by place-column:

6 + 2 + 1 + 8 = 14
4 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 4
3 + 4 + 5 + 5 = 17

14 + 4 + 17 = 35 אלד = final digit sum 8

We can see that the word אלד is hidden in the gematriot of the Torah phrase introducing Serach as a significant member of Yaakov's family. The Sages wonder why is Serach, a woman, mentioned so atypically and significantly here?

This is what I think - Serach, like Yitzchak and Yaakov, is a direct recipient of the covenantal blessing from Avraham and Sarah. In other words, Serach is the feminine equivalent of both Yitzchak and Yaakov combined, in terms of directly receiving the covenantal blessing on the feminine side. This understanding is hidden in the word אלד, itself hidden within the Torah phrase of parashat Pinchas.

The word אלד means "I shall give birth". Sarah laughingly utters this word when Hashem tells Avraham that Sarah will bear a child, Yitzchak. Indeed, Serach the Eternal, is the source of Sarah's laughter regarding the birth of Yitzchak, and is the source of the "births" of both covenantal and messianic consciousness through the evolution of Sarah.

Reverse Vision

In my previous post, I discussed the "3 and/or 4" fire-related phenomenon shared by Celtic and Jewish mysticism. Specifically, the phenomenon is encoded within the Celtic fire festivals and the Hebrew letter shin.

Another point is striking about this shared anomaly - the northern parts of the ancient Celtic world are associated with observance of 3 fire festivals (as opposed to 4), and by extension, with the 3-shin of chochmah. The Zohar connects the north itself to the element of fire. Consequently, one would expect the north to be connected to the 4-shin of binah as opposed to the 3-shin of chochmah. Yet, one element of fire is "hidden" in the Celtic north. Instead of the 4-shin, the 3-shin of chochmah (and the right pillar) is revealed in the Celtic north.

In the Celtic system, the south connects to the element of fire. Thus, in the southern parts of the ancient Celtic world, the 4-shin of binah (and the left pillar) becomes revealed through the observance of the four fire festivals.

Taking this together, the data suggests that the Celtic system and the Hebrew system are ezer knegdo to one another with respect to the eternal flame phenomenon, like opposite reflections face to face. In other words, each may be the reverse vision of the other.

Eternal Flames

Ancient and modern Celtic witchcraft typically observes 4 cross-quarter fire festivals [1]. However, in the northern parts [2] of the ancient Celtic world, one finds that only 3 fire festivals were observed. Interestingly, this "3 and/or 4" fire festivals observed throughout the ancient Celtic world has a parallel in Jewish kabbalah and Hebrew script.

The "letter of fire" called the eternal flame in Hebrew script is called a "shin" - it has 2 forms, one with 3 flames and one with 4 flames, the shin of chochmah and the shin of binah, respectively. In both the Celtic system and the Hebrew system, the "3 and/or 4" phenomenon is associated with fire - the fire festivals of the Keltoi and the fire letter of the Hebrews.

The ancients knew something cosmically significant and encoded it into the symbols and rituals of their ancient systems. I'm not sure about other mystical systems, but in my mind, clearly the ancient Keltoi and Hebrews had this knowledge. It enchants me tremendously.

The autistic spectrum is biologically related to the schizophrenic spectrum. In other words, those with diagnosed autism also tend to have family members somewhere in the family tree with some form of diagnosed schizophrenia [1]. Though autism and schizophrenia are biologically linked, they are not the same thing. Moreover, those with autism generally do not tend to also have schizophrenia, either psychotic or non-psychotic. This suggests that despite the probable genotypic link between the two (autism and schizophrenia), phenotypic expression (if it is expressed at all) is predominantly driven toward one over the other, where phenotypic expression of one attenuates phenotypic expression of the other.

I have autistic features to my personality; I have some form of high-functioning autism. I have a (maternal) first cousin who has schizophrenia and 2 distant (paternal) cousins who have schizophrenia as well. My cousins have all had "psychotic" experiences; i.e., "altered wakeful states of frightening visual awareness". I haven't ever, except maybe once when I was a small child. Importantly, this I think, supports the idea that the genetic path both autism and schizophrenia share is directed toward one or the other phenotypic expression.

The only psychotic-like "vision" I had as a child (at about 3-4 years of age [2], I'd estimate) involved my parents and my brother. I "turned away" in my mind [3] (and literally physically as well) from the vision, clinging to "my connection" and real remembrance of that Divine to guard me from something "not quite right" in my mind, literally (with my mind and mouth [4]) "speaking" it away (as I did somewhat similarly as an adult in this "angel of death" experience of sleep paralysis). In some way, I think I discerned that the vision was "not real" and rejected that kind of "altered state" of consciousness. Perhaps, for me at least, this childhood experience was the pivotal point where my fate became to develop autistic tendencies as opposed to psychotic schizophrenia. Interestingly, only early infantile autism is associated with rare psychotic or near-psychotic (but not schizophrenic) hallucinations [1]. Hallucinations tend to be rare among the population on the autistic spectrum.

I think the interconnection of autism and schizophrenia makes accurate recognition and diagnosis more challenging for those working in the psychiatric field. It also makes misdiagnosis more likely to occur.

Kabbalistically, regarding autism, it has been written:

"During the period of gestation, as various higher vehicles of psyche and spirit are gradually brought into alignment with the body, the consciousness of the person about to be incarnated hovers about the embryo. At first the relationship is quite flexible, which is one reason why miscarriages can occur almost without noticing. Later as the psyche begins to fuse into the physical organism, the bond grows stronger. Some people dimly recall this period and many, under hypnosis, remember quite clearly floating around in their mother, fully aware of their own and her feelings about the coming birth. Most people are pleased to make the association; but others, it has been noted, would rather not and retreat. This can lead to spontaneous abortions or Down's syndrome children, who in wishing to remain discarnate, retard the normal process of gestation at the genetic level. The same may be said for autistic children, who almost complete the process, but who have not quite come into full incarnation." [5]

From this we can see, that autism results from a (ס) supported desire not to "fall (נ) completely" into incarnation. In other words, an autistic person (נס) is betwixt two worlds - both in this lowest world and yet, out of this lowest world at the same time. in velt ouis velt
