In follow-up to my previous post (Voces Mysticae - ᛗᚹᚨ), this post records the dream and astral experiences surrounding the reception of this 3-rune phonetic phrase.
I woke up very early this morning before sunrise to the sound of my mother getting ready for work in the bathroom on the other side of the wall against which my bed is situated. I fell back 'asleep', sort of.
Suddenly, I was in my astral body, outside in the front yard near the road which runs in front of our rural home. It was dark outside. I noticed that the row of hedge [haag?] trees was not there as it is now, but the yard looked as it did when I was a little girl when all the neighborhood kids (myself included) would play a hiding game, 'hiding' from cars coming down the road at night with their lights on - we would drop down into the deep ditch which ran parallel to the rural road which ran east-west, sitting north of the property.
A car with its lights on was coming down the road from the east going west, I didn't drop down into the ditch - I remained floating in midair ('flying' in my astral body), caught in the light of the car's headlights as it approached. I wondered if the occupants of the car could see me in my astral body. They didn't seem to at all, as the car continued along its merry way, not slowing down nor doing anything to indicate that the driver could see my 'ghostly' form or anything unusual.
The car passed, and suddenly again, I saw a fog approaching across the road. It wasn't a desirable thing to be overcome by the approaching fog [Niflheimr?], so I went back towards the house to return to my body. Then things changed again, nothing was oriented as it was supposed to be to make navigating my way back to where my body lay easy. The road was now south of the house, windows were mismatched to their actual locations. As an astral being, I got caught by some kind of metal gripping contraption where a tv antennae used to be on the west wall of the house which was also a bit out of its place. Though I struggled, I couldn't get loose of its grip. Suddenly, I looked up toward my own bedroom window where inside, a belled pentacle [femsteor] wind chime hung - through it light streamed toward me - I was immediately released from the contraption's grip and woke up back inside my body.
I heard my mother in the bathroom drying her hair with her hair dryer.
I began to drift off again, but before I did, I 'saw' an ancient Viking 'drop down' into my world into my room.
I drifted off to sleep. There was a Viking raid in my ancient village. I'm not sure if I was a native of the particular village or not - I'm inclined to think probably not as I don't really recall that kind of emotional connection in the dream. Vikings were all over the village. I was trying to find a place to hide, but still out in the open, one Viking saw me. Everyone in the village was killed in the raid but me. I was captured by the Viking who had 'dropped down' as I had drifted off to sleep. He had decided to keep me - I became his captive bride, although I soon came to love him - he treated me well and loved me.
As I began to wake up, I heard the utterance - "mwa." ᛗᚹᚨ

My copy of ALU, An Advanced Guide to Operative Runology by Edred Thorsson came in the mail yesterday! Yay! Read the first chapter, and had some awesome dreams (including an astral experience) last night, complete with another mystical 3-rune phonetic phrase (a voces mysticae, also known as voces magicae) - ᛗᚹᚨ

Runic Warriors - Conversations In Valhalla
Bear with me, I'm pretty excited about what I've just discovered.
Background, this is what I wrote in a private forum
thread, with significant parts emphasized:
... hearing the cacophony [ancestral Voice of the Many as described in Celtic mystical tradition] was pretty common for me about two decades ago, the commanding male voice was common about a decade ago. Now, I don't have either experience much anymore. I used to "see" runes and other magical letters/symbols written in the inky black darkness around me in the room alot about a decade ago too. Once in awhile I'll hear a discussion between two people, and even occasionally, I'd hear a group talking - like discussing me in a small meeting - sometimes their discussion was along the lines of "should we tell her?" "is this a good idea?" and so on, as if a group of beings were discussing amongst themselves just how much should be revealed to me by the main male communicator who I would hear more directly. Mostly, I'd just hear the commanding male, but like I said, a few times, he'd open up the veil for me to hear what else was going on around me - like the conversation of the small group discussing me. Also, many times, it wouldn't be my name I would hear, it would be a "magical phrase" (for lack of a better term) - words not in any language I'd ever learned and I'd often have to decipher the meaning using the meaning of the letters and syllables as I understood them. These mystery phrases became more common than hearing my name.
Here are the connections I'm making regarding this:
In the study of such formulas among Classicists and Egyptologists the idea that the voces mysticae were mere nonsense or gibberish has been once and for all rejected. By applying some of the same anthropological research as I used in Runes & Magic (1986), Gager concludes that the voces mysticae are forms of precise communication with beings of a higher order than man. Furthermore he points out that "the use of unintelligible forms of speech ... signaled the passage from the lower mundane realms to the sphere of true spiritual conversation with higher orders of being (Gager 1992, 9-10)." - source, Jelling Runes: Fifth International Symposium on Runes & Runic Inscriptions, page 77-78.
A few lines down from that quoted above, I also note this little bit:
Evidence seems to indicate that the Germanic rune-masters, and more especially the self-designated Erulians, were concerned with the same problems of language and symbolism as were the Mediterranean creators of lead tablets, amulets, phylacteries and magical papyri."
So, I looked up these rune-masters, the Erulians, and this is what I found:
So, I’ll conclude with the original question, are the Einherjar necessarily Eurlians? The answer would seem to be no. A warrior may have been chosen for his valor or distinction in battle and not his runic knowledge, not all warriors had this knowledge, and obviously not all warriors were chosen. But what of the Erulian ~ Rune Master? By their very nature, the runic warrior, does battle with elements seen and unseen, in all the worlds. By this virtue they secure for themselves a place at the table in Valhalla. source - Einherjar or Erulian, A Study of How One Arrives at the Table in Valhalla.
Taking all of these little bits together, it's not so inconceivable that the conversations I heard as described above in my experiences (all within the proximal context of seeing runes and other symbols in the inky blackness of the night around me) were conversations taking place in Valhalla among a group of the Einherjar, perhaps among an Einherjar-Erulian rune-master and other Einherjar - and important to me personally - I heard them! in Valhalla!
I'm ecstatic! And now I'm even more set on wanting the 13th warrior prayer said over me at my funeral when I pass over!
Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother, my sisters and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them in the halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave, they live forever.

Maāt Kheru - True Voice
כ״ח באדר תש"ע
Keowulf 30
In my previous entry (The Immortals), I described the mark of the immortals:
I noticed that each immortal had a mark on the side of his or her neck. The mark was in a artery-like stave form of Ogham writing, the specific written code unique on each immortal. The mark was beautifully radiant under the skin of the neck and sparked like glowing light-filled blood.
In the dream, I recognized that each mark, though similar, was unique. Interestingly, I didn't translate the mark into words because, within the context of the dream, a translation of the writing mattered very little.
We find an explanation of this detail in Osiris and the Egyptian Resurrection, volume 1:
Understand from these words that Thoth made Osiris to use his voice in such a way that the words which he spoke had exactly the effect he wished them to have. The words maā kheru are written after every 'dead' follower of Osiris, and of all the meanings which have been assigned to them by scholars, none represents their general meaning better than 'victorious' or 'triumphant.' With what words we translate maā kheru matters very little, for the general sense of the [hieroglyphic] word is perfectly plain. When a god, [or a goddess], or a man, or a woman is said to be maā kheru [fem. maāt kheru] we are to understand that when he or she has spoken, or 'uttered words', the words are followed immediately by the desired effect, that is to say, she who is maāt kheru possesses unlimited power, and there is nothing she cannot do or obtain.
From my dream, it is also written:
I had the power to unlock and open up the silos and to release the imprisoned immortals. I had the power to do it. I could release the terrifyingly awesome power of the immortals. I did it.
Thus, while the specific code written in the blood sign was unique to each immortal, it's general meaning is maāt kheru.
On the connection between the concept of maāt kheru and coffins (also in the dream), it is written:
Maat is an ancient Egyptian word meaning 'justice' and 'balance.' At the end of a civil trial, one party or the other was declared maat kheru, 'true of voice' or 'justified.' After death, each Egyptian expected to face a trial in the next world. In the final phase of this trial, the heart, the seat of intelligence and moral judgment as well as of emotions, was weighed against an ostrich feather that represented Maāt, the goddess of Truth and Justice. If the heart balanced, against the feather, the person had lived a good life, and could enter into the Afterlife. If the heart did not balance, a monster called The Devourer consumed it. The weighing of the heart is a common motif on coffins of the Late Period, and can also be seen in Books of the Dead.
The immortals are those declared maāt kheru.

Temple Species
כ' שבט תשס"ט
Imbolgen 20
Early this shabbat morning before sunrise, I came awake. As I was waking, I saw the sounds of two words as they burst into my consciousness - namely:
zendel (זן-דיל pronounced zen-dil)
gezereig (גזר-הגג pronounced gezer-hegg)
I got up and wrote the words down before going back to sleep. This morning, the message in the magic words comes alive.
זן - species, strain, variety, type
דיל - deal, agreement, something for something, an equal exchange, a substitution
גזר - divide into pieces, cutting, decreeing, Temple elevation, removing
הגג - maximum, top (reward and punishment)
Taken together, the two words come together in my mind to mean 'species which mediates and distributes maximum punishment or reward'. In other words, this 'type of Temple consciousness' mediates to support, modify or rescind Divine decree.
This 'type' of awareness exists in me.

The Magic Word
ל' כסלו תשס"ט
Grael 1
As I was waking up this shabbat morning, a mysterious magic word came into my conscious awareness. The word I saw was 'pesenesach' (pronounced in my mind as pay-seh-neh-sock). The magic word, which means nothing to my normative awareness, brought with it the immediate meaning of worthiness.
In the magical Hebrew alphabet, pesenesach could be spelled פסנסח.
Drilling down into the word to find more meaning, the 'p' sound corresponds to the Hebrew letter pei (פ, pronounced 'pay') and pertains to communication and to the transmission of esoteric knowledge.
The next letter samech (ס) corresponds to the ideas of circle, sphere and encircling.
The next two letters (נס) spell nes which means miraculous event.
The final letter chet (ח) corresponds to both the lifeforce and to the gateway to the mysteries.
The last three letters (נסח) in combination form the shoresh (root) nasach meaning to 'pluck up'. In Jewish meditation, nasach pertains to clearing the mind of all distraction. In my own experience, nasach is intimately related to my epiphany of 1967, where I was 'plucked up' into the mystical experience of a lifetime.
Taken together, the magic word pesenesach contains the code:
worthiness -> active communication -> circlecasting - > miraculous event -> pluck up

Path Of The Just
י'ד בכסלו תשס"ח
Shamash 16
Acting with the energy of the lights of Tohu, in vessels of Tikkun ... because I can.
This shabbat full moon esbat at 6:33 am, I woke up and wrote down the major symbols of a complex dream so I would remember them.
I saw two Hebrew letters clearly in the dream, a tzadi (צ) was somewhat hidden behind a zayin (ז). The zayin "stepped forward" toward clearer closer identification. In the dream, I said,
"I claim the zayin for now."
In other words, while both letters were "mine", I indicated the one acting "for now" was the letter zayin.
There was another hidden letter as well.
Each letter was associated in some manner with a different and specific aspect of a dandelion.
The zayin, the clearer letter visually, was associated with a yellow dandelion set in a mid-horizontal line on a white door. (This mid-horizontal line corresponds to the path of the letter aleph (א) located "between" Gevurah and Chesed on the Tree of the Sefirot. Zayin is the letter corresponding to the path between Chochmah and Tiferet on the Tree of Life in the GRA array.)
The tzadi was itself somewhat hidden somewhat revealed in the background of directed observation, "behind the zayin", and was associated with a somewhat hidden, somewhat revealed red-like dandelion set opposite the yellow dandelion - out of the line of direct visual sight, but well within the higher mind's eye. In other words, though I didn't see the red-like dandelion with my dream eyes, I saw it through my higher mind beyond the eye - and as the tzadi was "behind" the zayin, the red-like dandelion was "opposite" the yellow one. In my mind, this kind of "seeing yet not seeing" is some "in between" form of quasi-reverse vision. (Tzadi is the path between Netzach and Malchut on the Tree of the Sefirot in the GRA array.)
Beyond both the zayin and the tzadi, and beyond both the yellow and red-like dandelion, I perceived the presence of both another "hidden" letter and another "hidden kind" of dandelion. I did not see directly or indirectly either the hidden letter or the hidden dandelion, but I perceived the Presence, associating the hidden dandelion with, not a color or color-like aspect, but with the essence of the dandelion - a dandelion essence. (This essence corresponds to all the "other" empty yet not empty space between the distinct letter paths on the Tree of the Sefirot which gives form to all the distinct letter paths. It is the pure Divine Feminine no-man's land of the vacated space, the chalal hapanui. This is complete reverse or negative vision.)
As I was waking from the dream, I clearly heard a word pronounced like "sern", spelled in English either as "sern" (like the enterotoxin-like microbial gene studied in medical research laboratories) or "cern" (like the high-energy particle physics laboratory). Both Sern and Cern pertain to "states in between" - the former (sern) to a place "in between" being a distinct toxin "code" or being distinctly non-toxin "code", and the latter (cern) to quantum non-localized fuzzy states existing "in between" distinct places in space. Like klipat nogah, both "sern" and "cern" point to a tachash state of being.
When I woke up from the dream, I remembered clearly that someone had been messing with my instrumental music CDs in my office at work. One of my CDs called Wishes has a dandelion on it - I noticed it had been moved slightly when I went in to work yesterday morning and returned it to its place.
Taking all this together, this dream in triplets pertains to 3 kinds of perception:
direct vision (physical/nefesh and psychic-dream/ruach, color-tzeva)
quasi-reverse vision (indirect/neshamah, color-like light-aur)
reverse-negative vision (hidden yet .../chayah-yechidah, radiance-aur gadol/darkness)
Interestingly, this dream follows the initial act shabbat evening of naming time according to the Witches' Year in parallel with the Hebrew date. The first Witches' calendar date I used for posting entries is today Shamash 16, where Shamash has correspondences to dandelion, the color yellow, the sefirah Tiferet, Hebrew Shemesh and the Hebrew letter meaning "door" (dalet ד).
The path of the Just is a great shining light emerging from within darkness.
