Black lace webbed with tiny beads like pomegranate seeds draped over the alter cloth as a single black candle lit the night of tonight's full moon. Beside it, as the candle gently burned, lay my gold Jewish star and silver pentacle, side by side, as the smoke of incense danced with the air. Simply beautiful.
