Interestingly, in follow up to both Michael And Me and Muvhak, there is precedent for the malach Michael "coming down" to a female. It is to Asnat, the daughter of Dinah and the granddaughter of Yaakov.
The Eishet Chayil website writes on Asnat:
Yaakov however, would not let them kill this child. He took a piece of metal and engraved on it the Divine name and the according to Tzedah LaDerech, the following words " Whoever marries this girl should know that his children will be descendants of Jacob." He placed it on a chain and put it around the child's neck. He then left her in the field under a bush. It is for this reason that she was named Asnath, from the Hebrew word "Seneh" which means bush. Chazal explain that the Malach Michael came down, took to the child ...
Somewhat similarly, Michael "came down" to me. Also interesting within the midrashic account, is the information that Dinah, Asnat's mother, was six years old when she was "kidnapped". I was six years old when I experienced the epiphany, and briefly "escaped" mitzrayim (katnut consciousness).
