Today, Tevet 21, is my Hebrew birthday (born on כ״א בְּטֵבֵת תשכ״א). I'm 49 Hebrew years old, but I won't be officially 49 years old on the civil calendar until after sundown January 8th.
Wow, I'm almost half a century old now.
